This change shifted Pandev over to the left wing where he played much better and finally scored a goal in the 74th minute when Wesley Sneijder made a pass to Pandev from the left which was missed by the sliding Lazio defender Giuseppe Biava and the ball reached Pandev whose first shot was blocked by André Dias but the ball took a good bounce and it fell for Pandev again who this time scored past the Lazio keeper to record his first Serie A goal of the season.
