It was very busy week-end for our internationals who were playing one of the last or the last matches in this season. They were three to celebrate the winning of a cup or championship.
Goce Toleski has won the title with Slavia Praha in the Czech Gambinus Liga while Filip Ivanovski and his team mate Pance Kumbev have won the Cup in Poland with Groclin Dyskobolia.
Cadikovski Dragan and Lazevski Aleksandar with Partizan are very close to win their second trophee this year after the one won in the Serbian Cup. With the 1:0 win against Hajduk Kula, Partizan is now at one point from the title in the Meridijan Super Liga. On the Saturday's match our internationals in Partizan were only on the bench. Their biggest rival Red Star Belgrad has also won with the score of 1:0 against OFK Beograd and kept their chances for winning the title in the last day of the season. On this match Ivan Trickovski has played tha last 20minutes of the game.
In the German Bundesliga 1, Igor Mitreski has played 90minutes in the hard 4:0 defeat of Enegie Cottbus against Hanover. With this defeat Energie Cottbus finiish this year championship on 14th place. Our others represents in the Bundesliga 1, Oka Nikolov and Aleksandar Vasoski were on the bench for Eintracht Francfurth in the win of their club with 4 goals to 2 over Duisburg. Eintracht finished on the 9th place this year and didn't manage to win a place in the one of the european cups.
Fom the next season there'll be another Macedonian player in the Bundesliga 1, thanks to third place of FC Koln in the Bundesliga 2, where Aleksandar Mitreski plays. Mitrevski and his team has secured the third place last week-end, so despite the defeat 3:0 this week-end against FC Kaiserslaurten, they will play in the Bundesliga1. Unfortunately FSV Mainz05 and Nikolce Noveski didn't manage to get one of the three first places despite the 5:1 win over St. Pauli this Sunday. The last hope of FSV Mainz05 to play in Bundesliga 1 the next year, died with the 5:0 win of now second placed Hoffenheim over Greuther Furth. With this win Hoffenheim kept the two points advance that they have had before the last day of the season. Both Mitreski and Noveski has played for their teams on this last day of the season.
In Bulgaria, Robert Petrov with CSKA Sofia has already won the title three weeks earlier, so the lasts matches this season were with no battle for the first and the second place that Levski has secured last week. It was only interesting the battle for the third place that goes to Lokomotiv Sofia thanks to its 3:0 win over Beroe Stara Zagora. Our striker Zoran Baldovaliev was the man of the match by scoring the two openning goals for his team. From our other internationals in Bulgaria, only Darko Tasevski has managed to score for his team Levski Sofia in the 2:1 win against Slavia Sofia. Tasevski has scored the opener in this match.
In Albania the title goes to Dinamo Tirana who managed to win 2:1 against the leader before this final day, Partizani. It the team of Dinamo was our international Artim Polozhani who was sent-off while the result was 1:1. Later there was another Dinamo's player that was sent-off and dispate playing with nine men Dinamo managed to score in the final minutes and to win the title.
In the French league's last day of the season, Robert Popov was on the bench for Auxerre in the 1:3 home defeat against the french champion Olympic Lyon who won its seventh title in row. The lasts matches of the season were played in Italy also. Our best player Goran Pandev has missed the match for his Lazio because of 8 yellow cards and with 14 goals he finished his best season in the Italian Seria A.
