Noveski celebrates after the win at WolfsburgNikolce Noveski and Mainz come from three goals down to defeat Wolfsburg, while Goran Pandev and Inter lost the UEFA Super Cup to Atlético Madrid.

UEFA Super Cup, Inter – Atlético Madrid 0:2
Goran Pandev started on the bench for Inter before he came on in the 68th minute replacing Dejan Stanković.  Pandev won a penalty for his team in the 89th minute but Diego Milito had his penalty saved by the Atlético keeper.  Overall, Atlético was the better team and deserved the win.

Germany, 1. Bundesliga, Wolfsburg – Mainz 05 3:4
Nikolce Noveski played the entire game for Mainz who showed great character by coming back from three goals down to win the game.  They were losing 3:0 after thirty minutes but they never quit and picked up an improbable win with Hungarian Ádám Szalai scoring the game winning goal in the 86th minute.  Fellow Macedonian Dragan Georgiev is currently on trial at 2. Bundesliga team Karlsruher and German newspaper Bild reported that another team from the German second division is interested in taking Georgiev on loan.

Germany, 1. Bundesliga, Eintracht Frankfurt – Hamburger SV 1:3
Aleksandar Vasoski was an unused substitute for Eintracht while Oka Nikolov did not play because of an injury.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Kryvbas – Dynamo Kyiv 0:1
Goran Popov played all 90 minutes for Dynamo Kyiv and also picked up a yellow card in the 33rd minute.

Russia, Premier-Liga, Tom’ – Dynamo Moskva 1:0
Goran Maznov was an unused substitute for Tom’ Tomsk.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, N.E.C. – Heerenveen 2:2
Samir Fazli started on the bench for Heerenveen before he came on in the 71st minute replacing Oussama Assaidi.  Heerenveen was losing 2:1 at that point but they tied the game in the 87th minute with a goal by Roy Beerens.

Both Aleksandar Stankov and Yani Urdinov were unused substitutes for Roda.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, Mattersburg – Red Bull Salzburg 1:0
Ilco Naumoski started for Mattersburg and played until the 71st minute when he was replaced by Robert Waltner.  Naumoski also picked up a yellow card in the 70th minute.  His team got a big win against the defending Austrian champions with a goal by Manuel Seidl in the 8th goal from a free kick from over 30 meters.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Dinamo Bucureşti – Universitatea Cluj 3:4
Kristijan Naumovski once again started for Dinamo Bucureşti but it’s a game he will want to forget as he conceded four goals.  The first goal came from a free kick and there was a lot of traffic in front of Naumovski so he had trouble locating the ball and it went in for a goal.  He wasn’t helped by his defenders on the next two goals but Naumovski’s awareness and positioning was not good. The final goal he conceded was on a header after a good cross.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Ethnikos Achnas – AE Paphos 2:1
Edin Nuredinoski, Vance Sikov, and Filip Ivanovski all played from the start for Ethnikos Achnas who got a narrow win as the Cyprus league got under way.

Petar Milosevski kept a clean sheet for Enosis, Bojan Markoski recovered from his quad injury and played the entire game, while Krste Velkoski also started but he was substituted in the 64th minute.

Bulgaria, A PFG, Slavia Sofia – Lokomotiv Plovdiv 2:1
Dragi Kocev started for Lokomotiv Plovdiv before he was substituted in the 63rd minute.

Bulgaria, A PFG, Montana – Pirin 3:0
Zoran Zlatkovski  played from the start for Pirin.

Czech Republic,1. Gambrinus Liga, Baumit Jablonec – Slovácko 3:0
Ilija Nestorovski started for Slovácko and played until the 60th minute when he was replaced by Filip Hlupik.  Nestorovski was active and had a great chance in the 12th minute when he was all alone with the opposing keeper but his shot was saved and then he had another chance in the 52nd minute after a mistake by the Jablonec defender but his shot from ten meters was just over the goal.

Czech Republic,1. Gambrinus Liga, Mladá Boleslav – Slovan Liberec 3:1
Vladimir Dimitrovski played the entire game for Mladá Boleslav and also received a yellow card in the 87th minute.

Greece, Superleague Greece, Panathinaikos – Skoda Xanthi 1:1
Marjan Altiparmakovski was not called up by Skoda Xanthi.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, Legia Warszawa – Bełchatów 0:2

Zlatko Tanevski played all 90 minutes for Bełchatów at RB as his team picked up an impressive road victory.

Mirko Ivanovski started on the bench for Arka Gdynia before he came on in the 63rd minute replacing Paweł Zawistowski.

Poland, Unibet 1. Liga, ŁKS Łódź – Górnik Łęczna 1:0
Dejan Miloseski played all 90 minutes for the visitors.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, OFK Beograd – Partizan 0:2
Aleksandar Lazevski played the entire game for Partizan.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Vojvodina – Javor 2:0
Mario Gjurovski got the start for Vojvodina and played until the 70th minute while his teammate Daniel Mojsov did not play because of an injury.  Gjurovski provided the assist on the second goal by Vojvodina.

Aleksandar Todorovski played all 90 minutes for Rad.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Borac Čačak – Metalac 1:0
Stefan Spirovski began the game on the bench for Borac before he came on in the 85th minute replacing Boban Stojanović.

Zoran Todorov started on the bench for Smederevo but he entered the game at the beginning of the 2nd half replacing Branislav Stanić.

Croatia, T-Com Prva HNL, Šibenik – Istra 1961 2:2
Armend Alimi played all 90 minutes for Istra 1961 and took a dangerous free kick in the 80th minute but it just missed.  For Šibenik, Daniel Georgievski started for the first time and played the entire game.

Croatia, T-Com Prva HNL, Inter Zaprešić – Lokomotiva Zagreb 5:0
Aleksandar Trajkovski did not play as he waits to turn 18 before he is eligible to play for Inter Zaprešić.  His team finally won a game as they were helped by the fact that the visitors were shown three red cards and played the majority of the game with eight men.

Slovakia, Corgoň Liga, Tatran Prešov – Košice 1:1
Darko Tofiloski played the entire game for Košice.  The only goal he conceded was in the 60th minute.

Israel, Ligat Winner, Ashdod – Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona 2:2
Zoran Baldovaliev started for Ironi Kiryat Shmona and played until the 55th minute when he was replaced by Barak Badash.

Hungary, Soproni Liga, Debreceni – Videoton 3:1
Mirsad Mijadinoski played all 90 minutes for Debreceni.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Mjällby – Trelleborg 1:1
Daniel Ivanovski remains out with an injury for Mjällby.

Azerbaijan, Unibank Premyer Liqası, Inter Bakı – Neftçi 0:2
Both Igor Mitreski and Slavco Georgievski played the entire game for Neftçi.  As for Inter Bakı, Filip Despotovski is close to signing with them and reports out of Azerbaijan state that the contract should be finalized on Monday.  Despotovski could not agree to terms with Ukrainian club Volyn Lutsk so it looks like he will continue his career in Azerbaijan with Inter Bakı.

Turkey, Bank Asya 1. Lig, Orduspor – Giresunspor 2:1
Jovan Kostovski played the entire game for Orduspor while his teammate Muarem Muarem started and played until the 90th minute when he was replaced by Ümit Bozkurt.  Kostovski also received a yellow card in the 74th minute.

Australia, Hyundai A-League, Melbourne Heart – Perth Glory 2:2
Aleks Vrteski was an unused substitute for Perth Glory as he was the #2 keeper.

South Korea, K-League, Gangwon – Daegu 1:0
Baze Ilijoski started on the bench for Gangwon before he entered the game in the 67th minute replacing Seo Dong-Hyun.
