Macedonian internationals performances

Ibraimi & RistićBesart Ibraimi with four goals in the first two friendlies for Schalke 04, Aleksandar Trajkovski with a hat-trick for Inter Zaprešić, and Stevica Ristić continues his good form with another two goals for Bunyodkor.

Uzbekistan, 1/2 Final Uzbek Cup, Neftchi Farg’ona – Bunyodkor 2:3
Stevica Ristić played all 90 minutes for the visitors and scored a goal in the 56th minute.

Uzbekhistan, 1/2 Final Uzbek Cup, Bunyodkor – Neftchi Farg’ona 4:1
Stevica Ristić scored the in the 67th minute for a 3:0 lead in the return leg of ther Uzbek Cup. Three minute later he was substituted by Rashidov. Buntodkor advanced into the final.

Friendly, Mainz 05 – Offenburger FV 4:0
Nikolce Noveski played the 1st half for Mainz and won a penalty for his team in the 40th minute which was converted by Lewis Holtby.

Friendly, TuS Borkum – Schalke 04 0:14
Besart Ibraimi played the entire game for Schalke and scored a hat-trick.  He scored his goals in the 77th, 79th, and 87th minute.  Schalke’s leading scored last year, Kevin Kyranyi, left to sign with Russian side Dynamo Moskva so it remains to be seen what role Ibraimi will play this upcoming year for Schalke.  Schalke has signed one striker this summer in Slovakian international Erik Jendrišek and it’s possible that they may sign more strikers so it’s very important for Ibraimi to do well in these friendlies and prove to manager Felix Magath that he can count on him as Schalke will also play in the Champions League this year.

Friendly, TV Bunde – Schalke 04 0:11
Schalke played another friendly and they recorded another convincing victory.  Besart Ibraimi played the 1st half and scored a goal in the 13th minute.

Friendly, TSV Hartberg – Mattersburg 0:4
Ilco Naumoski played the 1st half for Mattersburg.  He was set to become a free agent this summer but decided to renew his contract with Mattersburg for an additional year.  He will be the only Macedonian playing for Mattersburg this year as Goce Sedloski will play for the amateur team and also be an assistant coach to Matterburg manager Franz Lederer.  The third Macedonian, Ostoja Stjepanović, was a free agent but Mattersburg decided not to offer him a contract so he is currently free to sign with any club.

Friendly, Bellinzona – Aarau 1:0
Aco Stojkov did not play for Aarau because of an injury.  Stojkov’s team got relegated so it’s still uncertain whether Stojkov will stay in Aarau or whether he will be transferred to a team from a stronger league but he first needs to get healthy.

Friendly, Zandvliet – Germinal Beerschot 0:7
Germinal Beerschot manager Glen de Boeck rotated his players and gave them a chance to compete.  Tome Pacovski started at keeper and played the first 22 minutes and was substituted by Thomas Kaminski who played the rest of the 1st half.  Then Pacovski came on at the beginning of the 2nd half and played until the 68th minute when Thomas Kaminski came on to finish the game.  Both keepers didn’t allow a goal and were given equal time to show what they can do.

Friendly, APOEL – Mladá Boleslav 1:2
Boban Grncarov started and played until the 60th minute for APOEL while his teammate Ivan Trickovski played the 2nd half.

Friendly, Neftçi Bakı – Beşiktaş 1:1
Slavco Georgievski made his debut for Neftçi Bakı who got a good result against well known Turkish team Beşiktaş who recently signed Portuguese international Ricardo Quaresma who played with Goran Pandev at Inter.  Quaresma also played in this game.

Friendly, Levski Sofia – Târgu Mureş 2:3
Darko Tasevski started on the bench before he entered the game in the 68th minute.  He immediately made a difference as he provided an assist in the 76th minute but it wasn’t enough as Levski suffered a narrow loss.

Freindly, Levski Sofia – Metalist Kharkiv 3:2
Levski played another friendly and this time Darko Tasevski started and played until the 64th minute.  He provided a nice pass which led to a Levski player being fouled in the 12th minute and they ended up scoring from the resulting free kick.

Darko Tasevski played the 1st half for Levski.

Friendly, Slovácko – Vasas SC 0:0
Ilija Nestorovski played the 2nd half for Slovácko.

Friendly, Alania – Slovácko 1:0
Ilija Nestorovski once again played the 2nd half for Slovácko.  It was reported that Mirko Ivanovski was going to be on trial at Alania and even their website reported that but he hasn’t shown up yet.

Friendly, Slovácko – Metalurh Donetsk 1:2
Ilija Nestorovski and Slovácko played their last friendly in Austria before they return to the Czech Republic where their season starts on July 17th.  Nestorovski started on the bench before he came on in the 72nd minute with Slovácko losing 2:0.  Nestorovski added some creativity and Slovácko were able to score a goal in the 81st minute to cut the lead to 2:1 but they couldn’t get the equalizer.

Friendly, Dinamo Bucureşti – Universitatea Cluj 0:1
Blagoja Todorovski played the 1st half for Dinamo Bucureşti.  Todorovski returns to Dinamo this year after he spent last year on loan at Macedonian club Renova.

Friendly, NK Ljutomer – Inter Zaprešić 1:5
17 year old Aleksandar Trajkovski who recently made headlines by playing in a youth tournament for English giants Chelsea started for Inter Zaprešić and scored a hat-trick.  The goals were scored in the 15th, 17th, and 65th minute.

Friendly, NK Nafta – Inter Zaprešić 2:0
Aleksandar Trajkovski and Inter Zaprešić played another friendly this week and Trajkovski once again started but his team fell short this time and lost 2:0 to NK Nafta.

Friendly, Partizan – Lech Poznań 0:1
Aleksandar Lazevski played the 2nd half for Partizan.  This game was played in Austria.

Friendly, Wacker Innsbruck – Partizan 4:2
Aleksandar Lazevski played the entire game for Partizan while his teammate and fellow Macedonian Stefan Askovski started on the bench before he came on in the 79th minute.  Askovski plays for the youth teams of Partizan but was given a chance in this friendly.

Friendly, Istra red – Istra blue 3:2
Istra played a red vs blue game between their players.  Armend Alimi played the 1st half for the blue team and played the 2nd half for the red team.

Friendly, Metalurh Donetsk – Krylya Sovetov 3:1
Artim Polozani played the entire game for Krylya Sovetov.

Friendly, Debreceni – Gaz Metan Mediaş 1:3
Mirsad Mijadinoski played the entire game for Debreceni.
