Aleksandar Trajkovski opened on the bench for Palermo before he was introduced in the 33rd minute to substitute Ivaylo Chochev, while Goran Pandev played the complete match for Genoa. Trajkovski was very lively and Palermo looked much more dangerous with him on the pitch. Trajkovski attempted two shots on goal in the 67th and 89th minute, but both of his efforts were saved. As for Pandev, he was also active and had two early chances saved nicely by the Palermo keeper. Overall, both Trajkovski and Pandev had solid debuts for their new clubs in Italy.

Vanche Shikov played all 90 minutes for Austria Wien in the road draw against Red Bull Samzburg. Austria Wien twice took the lead, but the home side came back both times to snatch a point.

Arijan Ademi was not included in the Dinamo Zagreb squad due to an injury.

Stefan Ristovski started at right-back for Rijeka and played the complete match, while Marko Simonovski came off the bench for RNK Split at the beginning of the 2nd half to replace Petar Franjic. Ristovski had one good chance in the 75th minute, but his effort went just wide of the goal.

Ilija Nestorovski played the entire game for Inter Zaprešić and scored the opening goal in the 11th minute. It came on a header from close range after a good cross from the left hand side.

Muzafer Ejupi got the start for Slaven Belupo and played until the 90th minute when he made way for Filip Mihajlevic. Ejupi compiled a goal and an assist. He set up Mario Gregurina in the 18th minute, while he converted a penalty kick in the 41st minute. Just like Nestorovski, Ejupi has also notched 4 goals in seven league games this season.

Agim Ibraimi played all 90 minutes for Maribor in the goalless draw against Rudar. He was mostly quiet as Maribor was led by interim coach Sasa Gajser. Their previous manager resigned earlier in the week. Returning to Ibraimi, one Israeli journalist informed me that Maccabi Haifa has expressed interest in Agim, so we’ll see if anything comes of that rumor.

Jovan Kostovski started at center-forward for OH Leuven and played until the 35th minute when an injury forced him to be replaced by Romero Regales. Kostovski received a push in the back and fell hard on his right shoulder. He left the field on a stretcher. On Sunday, OH Leuven said that Kostovski’s injury will require surgery and he will be out for 3-4 months.

As for OFK Beograd, Daniel Avramovski finally debuted by coming off the bench in the 56th minute to substitute Milos Zlatkovic, while his new teammate Ostoja Stjepanovic was still not cleared by the Serbian federation to play in this match. Both Kitanovski and Avramovski came close to scoring in the 67th and 73rd minute, respectively, but their shots were saved by the keepers.
