Macedonian internationals performances

Gjurovski after his goal; photo: Goal ThailandVanche Shikov rewarded his Austria Wien manager by netting a goal, Agim Ibraimi amassed two goals for Maribor, Stefan Ristovski played a part in three goals for Rijeka, while Darko Tasevski and Mario Gjurovski continued to do their thing in Thailand.

Austria, tipico Bundesliga, Austria Wien – Altach 3:1
Vanche Shikov found himself in the starting lineup and played the full encounter for Austria Wien. He scored the opening goal in the 29th minute on a tap-in from close range. Interestingly, his fellow center-back Lukas Rotpuller provided the assist.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, Zagreb – Dinamo Zagreb 0:2
Arijan Ademi played all 90 minutes for Dinamo Zagreb and also received a yellow card in the 51st minute. Ademi nearly scored a nice goal in the 62nd minute when he made a good run, but his shot would hit the left post.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, Rijeka – Lokomotiva 3:1
Stefan Ristovski started at right-back for Rijeka and played the complete match. Ristovski put together a great performance by playing a part in all three goals. The first and third goal began from his contributions on the right hand side, while the second goal led to a direct assist for Ristovski when he set up Roman Bezjak. This was Rijeka’s first game at their brand new stadium.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, Inter Zaprešić – RNK Split 0:0
Ilija Nestorovski played the entire game for Inter Zaprešić as the center-forward, while Marko Simonovski did not suit up for RNK Split due to an injury. Nestorovski had one shot on goal in the 54th minute, but his effort was saved by the keeper.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, Hajduk Split – Slaven Belupo 2:2
Muzafer Ejupi got the start for Slaven Belupo and played until the 74th minute when he was substituted by Marko Marciuš. Ejupi compiled the assist on the first goal in the 19th minute when he played a nice one-two with the eventual scorer Ljuban Crepulja.

Slovenia, PrvaLiga Telekom Slovenije, Maribor – Krško 4:1
Agim Ibraimi started on the wing for Maribor and played until the 81st minute when he was replaced by Dino Hotic. Ibraimi scored the last two goals for Maribor in the 46th and 68th minute. Both came on well struck shots. The first goal came from the edge of the area, while the second goal came from further back on a precise shot to the back of the net.

Slovenia, PrvaLiga Telekom Slovenije, Olimpija – Domžale 0:2
Zeni Husmani opened on the bench for Domžale before he was introduced in the 35th minute to take the place of the injured Darko Zec. In the 60th minute, Husmani received a blow to the head, causing him to bleed. He then received treatment, but he was able to continue. Husmani was also shown a yellow card in the 71st minute.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, OH Leuven – Anderlecht 0:2
Jovan Kostovski played all 90 minutes for OH Leuven in the home loss against Anderlecht. Kostovski only had one chance in the 90th minute, but his header went over the goal. Jovan, though, did save a goal in the 29th minute while defending a free kick. His sliding challenge blocked a close range shot.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Lokeren – Charleroi 2:2
Besart Abdurahimi was not among the 18 players called up by Lokeren.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Diósgyőr – Videoton 1:2
Mirko Ivanovski began the game on the bench for Videoton before he entered the pitch in the 61st minute to substitute Tibor Heffler. Videoton recorded an improbable win by scoring two goals in stoppage time. The equalizer came in the 93rd minute, while the winning goal came two minutes later.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Újpest – Békéscsaba 2:0
Enis Bardhi opened on the bench for Újpest before he was introduced in the 75th minute to replace Kylian Hazard. Bardhi created a quick chance in the 79th minute, but his attempt was denied by the opposing keeper.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, Jagiellonia – Zagłębie Lubin 1:2
Aleksandar Todorovski played the whole match for Zagłębie Lubin who picked up their first victory of the young season in Poland. Zagłębie Lubin collected both goals after the hour mark.

Russia, Premier League, Amkar – Krylia Sovetov 1:0
Adis Jahovic missed another game for Krylia Sovetov due to an injury.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Djurgården – Häcken 2:1
Leonard Zuta once again started at center-back for Häcken and played the full match. Djurgården scored one early (6th minute) and late (84th minute) goal to edge Häcken.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Schaffhausen – Le Mont 2:0
Ezgjan Alioski played all 90 minutes for Schaffhausen and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet. Alioski returned to action after missing the previous game due to an injury.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Neuchâtel Xamax – Wil 1:3
Samir Fazli played the entire game for Wil who overcome a 1:0 halftime deficit to score three goals in the 2nd half. Two of the three goals were assisted by Fazli.

Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, St. Gallen – Young Boys 1:1
Taulant Sulejmanov-Seferi continues to be sidelined with an injury for Young Boys.

Thailand, Toyota Premier League, Buriram United – Muangthong United 2:2
Mario Gjurovski started in attacking midfield for Muangthong United and played until the 90th minute when he was replaced by Suporn Peenagatapho. Gjurovski scored the opening goal in the 16th minute on a diving header. Afterwards, he had another classic celebration that you can see below.

Thailand, Toyota Premier League, Bangkok Glass – Chiangrai United 3:2
Darko Tasevski played all 90 minutes for Bangkok Glass and scored the decisive goal in the 55th minute. With the game tied at 2:2, Tasevski converted a penalty to move Bangkok Glass into a three-team tie for first place (joining Muangthong United and Buriram United at the top of the table).

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Novi Pazar – Partizan 3:2
Stefan Ashkovski started for Novi Pazar and played until the 81st minute when he was substituted by Adriano Strack, while his teammate Ivan Nastevski was missing from the matchday squad. Ashkovski, normally a left-back, was fielded in attack and had the game of his life. Facing Partizan, his parent club since he is on loan at Novi Pazar, Ashkovski went off by scoring two goals and winning two more penalties (one converted by a teammate, one missed). One of his two goals happened to be the match winner which came in the 72nd minute.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Spartak Subotica – Mladost Lučani 2:0
Aleksandar Lazevski did not feature for Mladost Lučani, while his teammate Tome Kitanovski played the opening 45 minutes before he was taken out at the start of the 2nd half by Dusan Tesic.

Czech Republic, Synot Liga, Teplice – Slovácko 2:0
Veliche Shumulikoski played the whole match for Slovácko and also received a yellow card in the 49th minute.

Bulgaria, A Group, Botev Plovdiv – Lokomotiv Plovdiv 1:1
Zoran Baldovaliev opened on the bench for Lokomotiv Plovdiv before he was introduced at the start of the 2nd half to replace Dani Kiki. In the 48th minute, quickly after he came on, Baldovaliev scored the lone goal for his team on a shot from just outside of the area. The Plovdiv derby ended in a draw.

Denmark, Superliga, Viborg – Esbjerg 2:1
Aleksandar Stankov was among 19 players called up by Viborg, but he ultimately didn’t make the 18 player matchday squad.

Denmark, Bet25 Liga, Vestsjælland – Vejle 2:2
Antonio Stankov played the entire game for Vejle who squandered a two goal lead against Vestsjælland.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Premijer Liga, Olimpic – Čelik 1:1
Filip Gligorov started at right-back for Olimpic and played the complete match. Olimpic dropped two points after the visitors scored on a long-range strike in the 90th minute.

Armenia, Premier League, Banants – Mika 1:1
Vlatko Drobarov played all 90 minutes for Banants who netted a late goal in stoppage time to salvage one point. This was Vlatko’s debut for Banants as the defender moved there earlier in the summer.

United States, North American Soccer League, Indy Eleven – Atlanta Silverbacks 0:1
Dragan Stojkov started for Indy Eleven and played until the 77th minute when he was replaced by Don Smart. Stojkov came close to scoring on two occasions in the 67th and 75th minute, but both of his efforts were just wide of the goal.

Moldova, Divizia Națională, Zimbru – Dacia 2:0
Medzit Neziri was not among the 18 players called up by Dacia. That team opened the new season in Moldova with a road loss against Zimbru.

Finland, Veikkausliiga, SJK – Inter Turku 0:1
Egzon Belica was not included in the matchday squad (16 players allowed in Finland) by Inter Turku.
