Besart Abdurahimi opened on the bench for Lokeren before he was introduced in the 30th minute to replace Ayanda Patosi. Abdurahimi collected one goal in the 77th minute when his intended cross into the box was misplayed by the Westerlo keeper. The keeper had anticipated the cross reaching the head of a Lokeren player, but Besart’s cross was a tad too high, resulting in the ball reaching the back of the net. Moments after the goal, Besart came close to scoring again, but his shot from the edge of the area struck the top of the crossbar.

Damjan Shishkovski was not included in the Gent squad as he currently serves as the #3 keeper on the team. These three points moved Gent into first place since Club Brugge lost this weekend.

Vanche Shikov continues to be a healthy exclusion from the Austria Wien squad. Shikov’s club situation will definitely test new national team manager Ljubinko Drulović. Can he rely on a guy that hasn’t played in a while? Vanche’s match fitness is obviously not where it needs to be, so we’ll see how Drulović handles that situation.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, RNK Split – Dinamo Zagreb 1:5
Arijan Ademi played all 90 minutes for Dinamo Zagreb who officially clinched the league trophy in Croatia. Ademi played a part in the first two goals for the visitors. In the 21st minute, Arijan made an accurate long pass to Ángelo Henríquez who controlled the ball before being brought down inside the area by the keeper. That spot kick was converted. Then, in the 30th minute, Ademi sent a low cross that was tapped in from close range by Henríquez.

Agim Ibraimi was an unused substitute for Maribor.

Aleksandar Lazevski played the entire game for Olimpija who recorded a comfortable win over the last placed side in Slovenia. The seldom used Lazevski got a chance since the starting left-back, Kenan Bajric, was out with an injury. Olimpija’s website said that Bajric will be sidelined for two weeks.

Dejan Peshevski was an unused substitute for Koper. His team led 0:2 at halftime, but then two red cards allowed Celje to come back by them scoring three goals in the 2nd half.

Stefan Ristovski played the whole match for Latina who recorded an important come from behind victory in its effort to avoid reaching the relegation zone. As for Varese, already relegated, neither Nikola Jakimovski nor Mensur Kurtishi were included in the matchday squad.

Filip Pivkovski started in attack for Martina Franca and played until the 90th minute when he was replaced by Teo Iaia.

Ferhan Hasani played all 90 minutes for Brøndby and scored the second goal for his team in the 12th minute. Hasani fired home a shot from inside the area after he was set up nicely by Riza Durmisi. Hasani also received a yellow card in the 68th minute.

Krste Velkoski played the entire game for Sarajevo and scored the second goal for his team in the 60th minute. The goal came on a shot from inside the area to tie the match at 2:2. Sarajevo would then score a late game winner to claim all three points.

Filip Gligorov got the start for Olimpic and played until the 53rd minute when he made way for Denis Čomor. In the 7th minute, when Olimpic took the 1:0 lead, Gligorov made a cross from the right hand side which hit the head of an opposing player. However, the clearance was poor and the ball then fell to Danijal Brković who fired home a shot from inside the area.

Mario Gjurovski did not feature for Muangthong United as he sat on the bench for the second consecutive game. This is form related since the coach has not been pleased with Mario’s play prior to the benching.

Aco Stojkov played the opening 45 minutes for Skenderbeu before he was replaced at the start of the 2nd half by Fation Sefa. The score was only 1:1 at the halftime break, but Skenderbeu added three goals in the 2nd half to down Teuta.

Vladimir Dimitrovski played the whole match for Kerkyra and also picked up a yellow card in the 78th minute. Kerkyra grabbed their goal on a converted penalty kick in the 62nd minute. The regular season in Greece will wrap up next weekend.
