Vanche Shikov played all 90 minutes for Austria Wien and scored the game winning goal in the 84th minute to decide to Wien derby. Shikov utilized his height to send a header to the back of the net following a free kick from the left hand side.

Goran Pandev was not summoned in the matchday squad by Galatasaray. Pandev scored two goals in a cup match this past Tuesday, but he continues to be ignored when it comes to league play. Galatasaray lost the big derby after conceding a late goal versus Fenerbahçe.

Arijan Ademi played the entire game for Dinamo Zagreb who picked up another win, this time against local rival NK Zagreb. Ademi nearly scored a goal in the 40th minute, but his first shot was blocked while his second attempt went just wide of the post.

Agim Ibraimi started on the right wing for Maribor and played until the 89th minute when he was substituted by Aleš Mejač. Ibraimi collected the assist on the second goal when his corner kick was headed home by Welle N’Diaye.

Nikola Jakimovski played all 90 minutes for Varese, while his teammate Mensur Kurtishi also got the start and played until the 51st minute when he made way for Luigi Falcone. Jakimovski played a part in Varese’s only goal when his shot was blocked, but the rebound fell to Daniele Corti who sent his effort to the back of the net.

Filip Pivkovski opened on the bench for Martina Franca before he made a late appearance in the 89th minute to replace Vincenzo Pepe. Pivkovski moved to Martina Franca with the hopes of getting more playing time, but that is not happening.

Ferhan Hasani started on the wing for Brøndby and played all 90 minutes in the road loss against fierce rival København. Hasani had one shot on goal in the 35th minute when his powerful effort from distance was pushed out for a corner by the goalkeeper from København.

Muhamed Demiri continues to be left out of the St. Gallen squad. He sat on the bench in the first couple of games this half-season, but now he’s watching the fixtures from the stands. It will be interesting to see whether Demiri gets a call-up to the Macedonian squad for the two matches in late March.
