Nikolche Noveski played the entire game for Mainz who took the initial lead in the 36th minute of the 1st half before Stuttgart equalized in the 36th minute of the 2nd half. On Stuttgart’s goal, Noveski was indecisive in whether to clear a cross/shot by Filip Kostic and that ended up surprising the Mainz keeper who saw the ball reach the back of the net.

Tome Pachovski was not included in the Mechelen squad as Wouter Biebauw started in goal, while Adrien Faidherbe was on the bench as the #2 keeper. Pachovski recently returned to training after being sidelined for two weeks due to a back ailment. Newspapers in Belgium reported that Mechelen will not renew Tome’s contract which expires at the end of the season. However, there is a possibility that Pachovski may leave in January since his status is not expected to change.

Aleksandar Trajkovski played all 90 minutes for Zulte Waregem, while Besart Abdurahimi was still missing for Lokeren due to a groin injury. Trajkovski netted the lone goal in the 7th minute when he fired home a volley following a cross from the right hand side. Then, in the 21st minute, Aleksandar won a penalty after he was fouled inside the area, but his teammate James Troisi skied his spot kick over the goal.

Jovan Kostovski started in attack for OH Leuven and played the complete match in the home draw against Antwerp. OH Leuven needed a late equalizer to salvage a point.

Vanche Shikov played the entire game for Austria Wien and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the narrow triumph over Grödig. This was the final game during the 1st half of the season, and Austria Wien currently sits in 6th place.

Aleksandar Todorovski was not among the 18 players called up by Sturm Graz. Todorovski could be another player looking for a new club in January since he does not appear to be in the plans of manager Franco Foda.
