Macedonian internationals performances

Trajkovski got the game winnerAleksandar Trajkovski scored the game winning goal for Zulte Waregem, Vanche Shikov and Austria Wien concluded the 1st half of the season with a win, while Nikolche Noveski and Vladimir Dimitrovski received starts at center back once again for their respective teams.

Germany, Bundesliga, Mainz – Stuttgart 1:1
Nikolche Noveski played the entire game for Mainz who took the initial lead in the 36th minute of the 1st half before Stuttgart equalized in the 36th minute of the 2nd half. On Stuttgart’s goal, Noveski was indecisive in whether to clear a cross/shot by Filip Kostic and that ended up surprising the Mainz keeper who saw the ball reach the back of the net.

Valmir Nafiu was not among the 18 players called up by Hamburg.

Turkey, Spor Toto Süper Lig, Konyaspor – Galatasaray 0:5
Goran Pandev was not summoned in the matchday squad by Galatasaray.

Stefan Ristovski was an unused substitute for Parma.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Mechelen – Gent 0:0
Tome Pachovski was not included in the Mechelen squad as Wouter Biebauw started in goal, while Adrien Faidherbe was on the bench as the #2 keeper. Pachovski recently returned to training after being sidelined for two weeks due to a back ailment. Newspapers in Belgium reported that Mechelen will not renew Tome’s contract which expires at the end of the season. However, there is a possibility that Pachovski may leave in January since his status is not expected to change.

Aleksandar Trajkovski played all 90 minutes for Zulte Waregem, while Besart Abdurahimi was still missing for Lokeren due to a groin injury. Trajkovski netted the lone goal in the 7th minute when he fired home a volley following a cross from the right hand side. Then, in the 21st minute, Aleksandar won a penalty after he was fouled inside the area, but his teammate James Troisi skied his spot kick over the goal.

Belgium, Proximus League, OH Leuven – Antwerp 2:2
Jovan Kostovski started in attack for OH Leuven and played the complete match in the home draw against Antwerp. OH Leuven needed a late equalizer to salvage a point.

Austria, Tipico Bundesliga, Austria Wien – Grödig 1:0
Vanche Shikov played the entire game for Austria Wien and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the narrow triumph over Grödig. This was the final game during the 1st half of the season, and Austria Wien currently sits in 6th place.

Aleksandar Todorovski was not among the 18 players called up by Sturm Graz. Todorovski could be another player looking for a new club in January since he does not appear to be in the plans of manager Franco Foda.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, Dinamo Zagreb – Slaven Belupo 3:2
Arijan Ademi played all 90 minutes for Dinamo Zagreb and also received a yellow card in the 36th minute. Dinamo led 3:0 at the hour mark of this game, but Slaven Belupo scored two late goals to make for a nervy finish.

Daniel Georgievski did not feature for Melbourne Victory due to an ankle injury. Georgievski is expected to be out of action for 2-4 weeks.

Stole Dimitrievski was not summoned in the matchday squad for Granada’s first team. Instead, he played for the B team where he kept a clean sheet in a 2:0 win over Almeria B.

David Babunski opened on the bench for Barcelona B before he was introduced in the 62nd minute to take the spot of Gerard Gumbau.

Kristijan Naumovski stayed on the bench for Levski as the #2 keeper behind Plamen Iliev. As for Slavia, Kire Ristevski played the final few minutes after entering the game in the 86th minute, while his teammate Dushan Savikj played the opening 57 minutes before he was replaced by Stanislav Genchev.

Muarem Muarem played the entire game for Qarabağ who utilized a mistake by the keeper to take the lead in the 23rd minute before Gabala came storming back with two goals after the halftime break.

Slavcho Georgievski was not summoned in the 18 player matchday squad by Inter Bakı.

Ardian Cuculi played all 90 minutes for Partizani who conceded one late goal to suffer the road loss versus Flamurtari. Cuculi also picked up a yellow card in the 44th minute.
