Thai club Bangkok Glass announced earlier today that they have terminated the contract of striker Bazhe Ilijoski.
Bazhe Ilijoski was productive during his brief stint with Bangkok Glass, but he fell victim to the rules in the Thai league. Each team can only have five foreign players and Bangkok Glass decided to use those slots on other players.
Ilijoski’s contract was terminated so Bangkok Glass can sign Australian defender Matt Smith. They made that signing official today, so one foreigner had to be let go to make room for Smith. That player turned out to be Ilijoski who will now be looking for a new club.
As a reminder, Darko Tasevski also plays for Bangkok Glass. Unlike Ilijoski, Darko will remain with the club this season as he is considered one of their key players.
