Macedonian internationals performances

Tasevski after his goal; photo: Bangkok Glass FacebookVanche Shikov received a red card in his league debut with Austria Wien, Darko Tasevski scored the game winning goal to lead Bangkok Glass past Mario Gjurovski’s Muangthong United, while Aleksandar Stankov notched one goal for Viborg in the opening round of the season.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Mechelen – Genk 3:1
Tome Pachovski played from the start for Mechelen and conceded one goal early in the 7th minute.  However, Mechelen responded with three unanswered goals to open the new Belgian season with a home victory over Genk.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Zulte Waregem – Kortrijk 2:0
Aleksandar Trajkovski opened the game on the bench for Zulte Waregem before he made a late introduction in the 88th minute to replace Ibrahima Conté.

Austria, Tipico Bundesliga, Wolfsberger – Austria Wien 4:0
Vanche Shikov started at right CB for Austria Wien and only lasted 5 minutes when he received a straight red card for an elbow to an opposing player’s face.  The incident occurred following a corner kick from the left.  There was pushing in the box and Shikov made contact with his marker who went down way too easily.  The contact didn’t seem worthy of a red card when looking at the replay, but the Wolfsberger player sold it well and the referee took out a red card.

Austria, Tipico Bundesliga, Grödig – Sturm Graz 2:1
Aleksandar Todorovski played the whole match for Sturm Graz who conceded both goals after the 80th minute to suffer the narrow road loss against Grödig.

Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, Sion – St. Gallen 1:0
Muhamed Demiri played all 90 minutes for St. Gallen who let in the only goal in the 72nd minute to head home empty-handed.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Le Mont – Schaffhausen 1:4
Ezgjan Alioski played the entire game for Schaffhausen who rolled to a comfortable three points in the win over newly promoted side Le Mont.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Biel-Bienne – Chiasso 0:1
Zoran Baldovaliev was not included in the Chiasso squad as he was ineligible to participate in this encounter.  Zoran just signed with Chiasso earlier in the week, so he was not registered in time to partake in this game.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, Lokomotiva – Dinamo Zagreb 3:4
Arijan Ademi started on the bench for Dinamo Zagreb before he came on at the start of the 2nd half to replace Gonçalo Santos.  Dinamo Zagreb trailed 3:1 at the break, but then scored three goals after the 80th minute to down Lokomotiva.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, Rijeka – Hajduk Split 4:2
Adis Jahovikj was an unused substitute for Rijeka.  Jahovikj has had a tough start with Rijeka as he has received little playing time so far in both league play and the Europa League qualifiers.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, Slaven Belupo – Zagreb 3:2
Besart Abdurahimi was not among the 18 players called up by Zagreb.  Abdurahimi is still looking to make a transfer abroad as he has shown little desire in staying with Zagreb.

Slovenia, PrvaLiga Telekom Slovenije, Maribor – Radomlje 3:2
Agim Ibraimi was given a rest by Maribor and did not make the 18 player matchday squad for the match against newly promoted side Radomlje.

Slovenia, PrvaLiga Telekom Slovenije, Domžale – Celje 1:0
Zeni Husmani started in defensive midfield for Domžale and played until the 89th minute when he was replaced by Gaber Dobrovoljc.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, CFR Cluj – Ceahlăul 4:0
Mirko Ivanovski was not included in the 18 player matchday squad by CFR Cluj.  Ivanovski, who recently joined CFR Cluj, is still working on his fitness after not receiving much action over the past several months with his previous club Astra.

Filip Timov started on the wing for Concordia and played until the 69th minute when he was replaced by Brazilian attacker Boldrin, while his teammate Hristijan Dragarski was an unused substitute.

Norway, Tippeligaen, Brann – Viking 0:1
Daniel Mojsov was an unused substitute for Brann.

Norway, Tippeligaen, Sandnes Ulf – Strømsgodset 1:3
Stefan Ashkovski was an unused substitute for Strømsgodset.

Bulgaria, A Group, CSKA Sofia – Levski 2:0
Kristijan Naumovski stayed on the bench for Levski as the #2 keeper behind Stefano Kunchev.  Naumovski lasted just one game as the starter before losing his spot to Kunchev.

Bulgaria, A Group, Lokomotiv Plovdiv – Slavia 1:1
Kire Ristevski played all 90 minutes for Slavia in the road draw against Lokomotiv Plovdiv.

Bulgaria, A Group, Beroe – Botev Plovdiv 1:1
Stefan Spirovski was an unused substitute for Beroe.

Slovakia, Fortuna Liga, Košice – Zlaté Moravce 1:3
Darko Tofiloski was benched by Košice as he was on the bench where he served as the #2 keeper behind Matúš Ružinský.  Last week, the Košice manager took some shots at Tofiloski by saying his focus was elsewhere.  The manager said Tofiloski is looking to transfer to a bigger club than Košice and that has affected his performances in the early season.

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Bangkok Glass – Muangthong United 2:1
Mario Gjurovski played the entire game for Muangthong United as did Darko Tasevski and Bazhe Ilijoski for Bangkok Glass.  Tasevski scored the game winning goal in the 82nd minute when he received a pass from Ilijoski before firing a shot past the Muangthong United keeper.

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, TOT – Chainat 2:3
Borche Manevski did not feature for Chainat in the slim road triumph over TOT.

Czech Republic, Synot Liga, Slovácko – Slavia Praha 1:2
Veliche Shumulikoski got the start for Slovácko and played until the 88th minute when he made way for Tomáš Břečka.  Shumulikoski also received a yellow card in the 87th minute.

Czech Republic, Synot Liga, Příbram – Viktoria Plzeň 2:2
Zoran Danoski was an unused substitute for Příbram.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Mjällby – Göteborg 3:0
Daniel Ivanovski started for Mjällby and played until the 66th minutw when an injury forced him to be substituted by Hampus Bergdahl.

Kazakhstan, Premier League, Kaisar – Zhetysu 0:0
Dushan Savikj opened on the bench for Kaisar before he was introduced in the 65th minute to replace Matic Maruško.

Belarus, Kubak Belarusi, Zvezda-BGU – Minsk 1:0
Predrag Rangjelovikj played from the start for Minsk who was eliminated from the Belarusian Cup with the loss to Zvezda-BGU.

Denmark, NordicBet Ligaen, Viborg – Horsens 1:1
Both Aleksandar Stankov and Antonio Stankov played the entire game for Viborg with the former scoring the team’s lone goal at the hour mark.
