Macedonian internationals performances (24-27.09.2021)

Milan Ristovski scored a brace, Stefan Spirovski had a great debut with a goal in Ukraine, Bojan Miovski, Boban Nikolov, Ivan Trichkovski, Aleksa Amanovikj, Zoran Danoski and Zeni Husmani scored one apiece while Goran Pandev assisted.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Egnatia – Skënderbeu 1:1
Bekim Redjepi played on the goal for the visitors and conceded one goal, whereas Demir Imeri and Besart Krivanjeva started for the hosts. Besart went on to play the full game, while Demir got substituted after 71 minutes. Besar Iseni on the other hand, started the game on Egnatia’s bench and got introduced in the 59th minute.

However, an 8-minute spell from 77th to 85th completely turned the match around and Genoa were leading 3:2. That was not the end as minutes later Verona equalized to round up an exciting match. Pandev had an active half and his introduction to play surely changed things around. First, he sent a ball for Mattia Destro in the 75th minute but it was handballed by a Verona defender in the box. The penalty was successfully converted by Genoa captain Domenico Criscito. Then, in the 85th minute it was Pandev who sent the ball for Destro who went on to score his second and Genoa’s third goal of the match.
