Macedonian internationals performances (23-26.08.2019)

Ezgjan Alioski scored and assisted, Stefan Spirovski returned in action and scored, Muzafer Ejupi and Milan Ristovski scored a goal apiece, Enis Bardhi, Boban Nikolov and Nikola Jakimovski assisted, whereas Elif Elmas and Ilija Nestorovski made their debut for their new clubs in Serie A.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Kukësi – Partizani 1:0
Edis Malikji played the full game for Kukësi as right wingback, while his teammate Tome Kitanovski came off the bench in the 80th minute to play the final 10 minutes of the game. For the opponents, center-back Egzon Belica played the entire match.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Skënderbeu – Flamurtari 1:0
Artim Polozhani played the full match for his new club – Skënderbeu, as they defeated Flamurtari by 1:0.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Teuta – Bylis 1:0
Blagoja Todorovski played the entire game for the hosts, whereas his teammate Bobi Celeski spent the entire 90 minutes on the bench as the reserve goalkeeper.

Filip Gligorov played the full 90 minutes for Vllaznia as a left back, while his teammate Aleksandar Ristevski remained on the bench. Mirsad Jonuz had a good start with Vllaznia after being appointed as new coach of the club after their promotion to the first division this summer.

Aleksandar Damchevski started the game on the visitors bench and entered the field in the 70th minute.

Both Antonio Stankov and Denis Mahmudov made the start for Pyunik. Stankov played the full game as a right back, while Mahmudov played the first halftime as a right wing. Antonio also got booked in the 67th minute.

Azerbaijan, Topaz Premyer Liqasi, Sumqayit – Səbail 0:3
Daniel Bozhinovski was the backup goalie for Səbail and watched from the bench as his club won 0:3 against Sumqayit.

Bosnia-Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Sarajevo – Velež 2:1
Krste Velkoski made the start for the hosts and got substituted after the halftime break when Sarajevo was down 0:1. For the visitors, Kosta Manev played the full game while Yani Urdinov made the start and played until the 75th minute. Urdinov also got booked in the 57th minute.

Bulgaria, Parva Liga, Arda – Cherno More 0:0
Darko Glishikj played another full game for Arda and helped the hosts keep a clean sheet against Cherno More, despite being a player down since the 38th minute.

Left back Aleksandar Isaevski played another full match for Dunav Ruse as they drew against CSKA. Isaevski also got a yellow card in the 48th minute.

Darko Tasevski is still sidelined by Slavia as he is still recovering from his injury.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Gorica – Istra 1:1
Agron Rufati watched from the bench as Istra drew away against Gorica.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Osijek – Hajduk 1:0
Todor Todoroski did not get summoned for the encounter against Hajduk. Instead, he and Mile Todorov played for Osijek II in the second league, where both of them scored one goal apiece.

Striker Muzafer Ejupi played the entire game for Slaven Belupo and he scored in the 57th minute to give the hosts a lead. However, Varaždin managed to equalize 15 minutes later and the game ended in a 1:1 draw.

Davor Zdravkovski entered the pitch in the 60th minute instead of Manuel Torres while his teammate Kire Markoski wasn’t summoned.

Dushko Trajchevski played the whole match for the home side.

Cyprus, Protáthlima Cyta, Enosis – Ethnikos 3:4
Risto Mitrevski played the full 90 minutes for the hosts and picked up a yellow card in the 78th minute. All three Macedonians at he visiting team started. Martin Bogatinov was who match between the posts, Bojan Markoski was substituted with Sotiris Finiris in the 79th minute, while Jovan Kostovski played the entire match up front. Interestingly, former Vardar player Hovhannes Hambardzumyan and now Mitrevski’s teammate, scored an own goal.

England, Championship, Stoke City – Leeds United 0:3
Ezgjan Alioski played the whole match for Leeds and contributed with a goal and an assist. Alioski scored the second goal for his team on this match. The ball came 5 minutes into the second half when Bamford played a great ball across the face of goal and Ezgjan Alioski was on hand to tap home. Later in the game, Forshaw played Alioski into the Stoke area with a wonderful through ball, his shot was denied from a narrow angle, but the ball fell to Bamford whose shot was unstoppable.

Filip Ivanovski wasn’t summoned by the visiting side.

France, Ligue 1, Monaco – Nîmes 2:2
Vlatko Stojanovski remained on the bench for the visiting side who managed to save a point from this match after being two goals down.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Puskás Akadémia – Ferencváros 4:1
Stefan Spirovski made his first start for Ferencváros after the long injury that sidelined him for too long. He had not played in a competitive game since suffering a serious injury while on NT duty in November of 2018. In the 12th minute he broke the deadlock with a nice lob goal, but that was all his team managed to do at this match. He featured the entire 90 minutes.

Kire Ristevski played the whole match for the away team.

Visar Musliu was on the bench for the away team while Boban Nikolov played the whole match. Nikolov actually provided the assist to the first goal.

Darko Churlinov wasn’t among the 20 players on Koln’s matchday squad because of a minor injury he picked up on training.

Italy, Serie A, AS Roma – Genoa 3:3
Goran Pandev replaced Andrea Pinamonti in the 86th minute as Genoa won a point away to Roma in the opening round of the Italian Serie A.

Italy, Serie A, Fiorentina – Napoli 3:4
Elif Elmas entered the match in the 72nd minute and helped his team keep the lead and win away to Fiorentina.

Ilija Nestorovski replaced Seko Fofana in the 70th minute for his official Udinese debut and minute later his new team scored the winning goal against Milan.

Italy, Serie B, Ascoli – Trapani 3:1
Nikola Jakimovski played the whole match for Trapani and assisted for his team’s only goal in the 3:1 defeat away to Ascoli.

Stefan Ristovski missed another match for Sporting because of illness.

Romania, Liga I Betano, Cluj – Botoșani 4:1
Stefan Ashkovski wasn’t included in Botosani’s squad.

Romania, Liga I Betano, Academica Clinceni – Sepsi 1:1
Marko Simonovski didn’t play for Sepsi on this match.

Serbia, Linglong Tire SuperLiga, Javor – Napredak 2:2
Aleksa Amanovikj played the whole match for Javor.

Serbia, Linglong Tire SuperLiga, Radnički – Spartak 2:1
Aleksandar Todorovski played the whole match for the home team.

Marko Gjorgjievski watched his team beat Mladost from the bench for substitute players.

Milan Ristovski played the full game for the hosts and opened the score in the 38th minute to give Nitra an initial lead. However, the lead only lasted one minute as DAC immediately equalized, and went on to turn the game around and defeat Nitra 1:2.

Tihomir Kostadinov played another full match for Ružomberok as they suffered a minimal defeat against Spartak.

Tomche Grozdanovski did not get summoned by ViOn for this encounter against Senica.

Slovakia, Fortuna Liga, Slovan – Žilina 1:1
Enis Fazlagikj was sidelined by Žilina as he is still recovering from his injury.

Slovakia, Fortuna Liga, Zemplín – Sereď 1:1
As usual, goalie Dejan Iliev remained between the posts by Sereď in the encounter against Zemplín. Dejan conceded one goal and also got booked in the 41st minute.

Spain, Primera División, Levante – Valencia 2:1
Enis Bardhi played the whole match for the hosts and assisted his club’s first goal as they defeated Valencia by 2:1. Valencia initially took the lead after only 3 minutes, but Levante equalized in the 68th minute through a penalty that was brought by Enis who got fouled inside the penalty box. Only 5 minutes later, Levante got awarded a second penalty as well, through which they completely turned the game around and secured a 2:1 win.

Aleksandar Trajkovski started the match on Mallorca’s bench and he entered the field in the 58th minute. Real Sociedad managed to win with a loan goal in the 83rd minute.

Spain, Segunda División, Sporting Gijón – Rayo Vallecano 1:1
Stole Dimitrievski remained on the bench for Rayo as coach Jemez has preferred Garcia as starting goalkeeper this season. This is bad news for Stole who was the first goalkeeping choice in the previous season in Primera División.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Sundsvall – Elfsborg 1:2
After being between the posts in the last three matches David Mitov Nilsson was forced to watch from the bench. He was in the initial starting line-up, but the minor injury he picked up during a cup game last week caused him problems in the pre-match warming up.

Turkey, Süper Lig, Galatasaray – Konyaspor 1:1
Erdon Daci made another start for Konyaspor and played for 56 minutes as a left wing. He also received a yellow card in the 14th minute of the match. Meanwhile, his teammate Leonard Zhuta did not get summoned for this encounter against Galatasaray which ended in a 1:1 draw.

Turkey, Süper Lig, Trabzonspor – Malatyaspor 2:1
Adis Jahovic played the entire game for the visitors as Malatyaspor suffered a narrow defeat away against Trabzonspor. Adis also got booked in the 5th minute of the additional time.

Turkey, 1.Lig, Bursaspor – Akhisarspor 2:1
Jani Atanasov played the full match for the hosts in central midfield.
