The 88th derby between eternal fierce rivals Vardar and Rabotnichki ended up with 2:0 win for the younger, but more successful club. Rabotnichki had few scoring attempts in the opening 45 minutes when keeper Gachevski prevented them from scoring. After the break Vardar took an early lead through Kolevski who scored on a rebound. Rabotnichki failed to create a serious equalizing opportunity and later was even punished with a second goal.
It is the 35th win for Vardar as Rabotnichki stays on 32. Also, it is the first goals scored and first win recorded this season for the pretty young red and black team.
