Goran Pandev’s two goals for Napoli led the way as he was the lone Macedonian player based abroad to get on the scoresheet, or accomplish anything of note, this weekend.

Italy, Serie A, Napoli – Udinese 3:3
Goran Pandev started for Napoli and played until the 74th minute when he was substituted by Dries Mertens.  Pandev added two more goals, coming quickly in succession in the 38th and 41st minute.  The first goal was on a sliding effort from close range, while his second strike was on a quick turn, concluding in a left footed shot past the Udinese keeper.  Pandev also picked up a yellow card in the 52nd minute.

Italy, Serie A, Cagliari – Genoa 2:1
Agim Ibraimi opened the match on the bench for Cagliari before he was introduced in the 58th minute to replace Francesco Pisano.  Ibraimi attempted a shot in the 64th minute that was parried away by the Genoa keeper out for a corner.  Cagliari eventually clinched three points by scoring the game winning goal in stoppage time of the 90th minute.

Italy, Serie B, Ternana – Latina 1:0
Stefan Ristovski played the entire game for Latina and had a quality chance in the 24th minute, but his effort was cleared off the line by a Ternana defender.  The loss finally put an end to Latina’s 13 game unbeaten streak in league play.

Germany, 1.Bundesliga, Nürnberg – Mainz 1:1
Nikolche Noveski played all 90 minutes for Mainz who needed an equalizer in the 75th minute to cancel out an early Nürnberg goal in the 5th minute.

England, Barclays Premier League, West Brom – Norwich City 0:2
Goran Popov was an unused substitute for West Brom.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Club Brugge – Mechelen 3:0
Tome Pachovski played from the start for Mechelen and conceded three goals in the 23rd, 34th and 70th minute, while his teammate Aleksandar Trajkovski came off the bench in the 61st minute to replace midfielder Boubacar Diabang.

Ivan Trichkovski opened the game on the bench for Waasland-Beveren before he was introduced in the 67th minute to take the place of René Sterckx.

Jovan Kostovski was not included in the OH Leuven squad due to an injury.  The leg injury is not believed to be serious, and Kostovski could return as early as next weekend.

Daniel Georgievski was not summoned in the 18 player matchday squad by Steaua București.  Georgievski is falling out of favor with the Romanian club, and it’s a near certainty now that he will have a new club come the winter transfer window.

Kristijan Naumovski stayed on the bench for Dinamo București as the #2 keeper behind Cristian Bălgrădean.

Boban Nikolov played all 90 minutes for Viitorul in the goalless draw against Ceahlăul.  Nikolov played further up the field and had two good chances in the opening half.  In the 10th minute, Boban found himself in a great position following a counter attack, but his shot was saved by the opposing keeper.  Then, minutes before the halftime break, Nikolov shot over the goal from a good position.

Muhamed Demiri played the entire game for St. Gallen in the home triumph over Sion.

Ezgjan Alioski played all 90 minutes for Schaffhausen and was involved in the action on the opening goal in the 20th minute when he combined with Patrick Rossini to set up Gianluca Frontino for the game’s first goal.

Ostoja Stjepanovikj started in defensive midfield for Wisła Kraków and played until the 74th minute when he was substituted by Piotr Brożek.

Darko Tasevski opened the game on the bench for Ironi Kiryat Shmona before he came on at the start of the 2nd half to replace Adrian Rochet.  The visiting side scored its lone goal from a penalty in the 70th minute in the road loss against Hapoel Acre.  Israeli newspapers continue to report that Tasevski is expected to make the move to Thailand with Bangkok Glass.  They reported that Ironi Kiryat Shmona is expected to receive 200,000 U.S. dollars with Tasevski due to triple his salary with the Thai club.

David Babunski started on the bench for Barcelona B before he made a late appearance in the 89th minute to take the place of fellow midfielder Denis Suárez.

Boban Grncharov played the entire game for Botev Plovdiv and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the goalless draw against in-city rival Lokomotiv Plovdiv.

Hristijan Kirovski was not included in the 18 player matchday squad by CSKA Sofia, while Dragi Kocev was an unused substitute for Pirin.

Ferhan Hasani started on the wing for Brøndby and played until the 57th minute when he was replaced by Thomas Kahlenberg.
