In what was yet another quiet weekend for Macedonian players based abroad when it comes to goals and assists, only Cvetan Churlinov managed a goal for Aiginiakos of the Greek second division.

Goran Pandev started in the trequartista role for Napoli and played until the 68th minute when he was substituted by Marek Hamšík. Pandev attempted one shot in the 40th minute that went over the goal from the edge of the area.

Stefan Ristovski got the start for Latina and played until the 84th minute when he made way for Giuseppe Figliomeni. Ristovski played in central midfield for Latina and was pretty active. In the 36th minute, Ristovski showed good dribbling skills to get around several Palermo players before being brought down inside the area. However, the referee waved play on to the astonishment of the Latina players and coaches. The visitors overcame an early deficit to get a solid road win against Palermo, a team that was relegated from Serie A last season.

Nikolche Noveski started in his usual left CB spot for Mainz and played all 90 minutes in the road victory over Werder Bremen. Noveski had a good chance in the 80th minute, but his header was saved by the Werder keeper.
