Ibraimi had two opportunities, both coming in stoppage time of the 90th minute, but he squandered both efforts to put the game away. Regardless, by the time the referee blew his final whistle, Cagliari held on to snatch three points in the 2:1 home victory.

Stefan Ristovski got the start for Latina and played until the 83rd minute when he made way for Andrea Milani. Ristovski attempted a shot from distance in the 64th minute that was saved by the Pescara keeper before going out for a corner.

Nikolche Noveski played the entire game for Mainz who led 0:1 at halftime before Bayern München regrouped to score four goals in the 2nd half on their way to all three points. On the fourth and final goal for Bayern in the 81st minute, Noveski gave away a penalty after the referee ruled that he had fouled Bastian Schweinsteiger with a push in the back. Thomas Müller converted the spot kick to complete the 4:1 scoreline.

Ivan Trichkovski returned from his injury for Waasland-Beveren by getting the start in attack and playing until the 81st minute when he was replaced by Renaud Emond, while Jovan Kostovski played all 90 minutes for OH Leuven and also received a yellow card in the 85th minute. The best chance for either player fell to Trichkovski in the 27th minute, but his volley was well saved by the opposing keeper. Kostovski, on the other hand, was mistakenly rewarded with a goal in several live scoring websites, but that actually proved to be an own goal by Waasland-Beveren defender Mijuško Bojović.
