Although most of the leagues around Europe concluded play last weekend, several were still winding down their seasons this weekend in what was a relatively quiet week for Macedonian internationals performances.
Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, Thun – Young Boys 2:2
Muhamed Demiri remains out with an injury for Thun. For the second consecutive season, Thun finished in 5th place out of 10 teams in the Swiss top division.
Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, Sion – Zürich 4:2
Adis Jahovic was not included in the Zürich squad as he was with the Macedonian national team for the friendlies against Sweden and Norway.
Czech Republic, Gambrinus Liga, Zbrojovka Brno – Slovácko 1:3
Veliche Shumulikoski started in midfield for Slovácko and played until the 75th minute when he made way for Stanislav Hofmann. Shumulikoski also collected a yellow card in the 61st minute during the final round of the Czech season.
Poland, T-Mobile Ekstraklasa, Pogoń Szczecin – Polonia Warszawa 3:1
Aleksandar Todorovski was not included in the Polonia Warszawa squad as he was with the Macedonian national team. Polonia Warszawa was not granted a license for next season due to not meeting financial guidelines, thus the club was relegated all the way to the fourth division. Todorovski is certain to play for a new club next season.
South Korea, K-League Classic, Suwon – Gyeongnam 0:0
Stevica Ristic was not among the 18 players called up by Suwon.
Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Muangthong United – Osotspa 1:1
Mario Gjurovski began the game on the bench for Muangthong United before he came on at the start of the 2nd half to replace Sarawut Masuk. Gjurovski came close to scoring twice, both on free kicks, but his first one struck the crossbar, while his second attempt was saved nicely before going out for a corner.
Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Egri – Győr 2:3
Jasmin Mecinovic was not included in the Egri squad as he was originally with the Macedonian national team before manager Chedomir Janevski decided to withdraw both Jasmin and Kire Ristevski since there were already enough defenders on the Macedonian squad.
Greece, Football League Promotion Play-Offs, Iraklis – Olympiakos Volos 0:1
Hristijan Kirovski got the start for Iraklis and played until the 72nd minute when he made way for fellow striker Giorgos Chionidis. Kirovski also picked up a yellow card during the match.
Sweden, Allsvenskan, Mjällby – Halmstad 5:1
Daniel Ivanovski started at right-back for Mjällby and played until the 73rd minute when he was substituted by Mahmut Özen.
Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Gloria Bistrița – Concordia 1:3
Egzon Belica opened the game on the bench for Concordia before he made a late substitute appearance in the 89th minute to replace Andrei Stan.
