Macedonian internationals performances

Ilijoski (R) in action for Brașov; photo: gsp.roGoran Pandev returned from his two game red card suspension with an assist for Napoli, Baze Ilijoski scored an important goal to distance Brașov further from the relegation zone, Agim Ibraimi reached the back of the net once again for Maribor, while Stevica Ristic scored a game winner to keep Suwon at the top of the table in South Korea.

Italy, Serie A, Roma – Napoli 2:2
Goran Pandev returned from his two match ban for Napoli by starting on the bench before coming on in the 52nd minute to replace Blerim Dzemaili.  Pandev was active during his time on the field and provided the assist on the second goal for Napoli in the 67th minute when he found Edinson Cavani who then did the hard part by scoring a great goal on a well placed shot from the edge of the area.

Italy, Lega Pro Prima Divisione (Group B), FeralpiSalò – Frosinone 1:2
Stefan Ristovski played all 90 minutes for Frosinone at right back as his side scored a goal in each half to collect the three points in the road encounter against FeralpiSalò.

Germany, 1. Bundesliga, Hamburg – Mainz 05 0:0
Nikolce Noveski played the entire game for Mainz and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet.  Mainz has now played three consecutive goalless draws in league play.

Ferhan Hasani was not called up by Wolfsburg.

Ukraine, Kubok Ukraini, Volyn – Shakhtar Donetsk 3:4
Both Vance Sikov and Dusan Savic played the entire game for Volyn who came up short in their attempt to reach the domestic cup final.  Sikov played a part in the second Volyn goal in the 84th minute when his free kick from distance was blocked but the ball fell perfectly to Lopes who then fired a shot past the opposing keeper.  Sikov also received a yellow card in the 30th minute.

Ukraine, Kubok Ukraini, Metalurh Donetsk – Karpaty 0:0  (Metalurh advanced 7:6 on penalties)
Martin Bogatinov played from the start for Karpaty who was eliminated from the Ukrainian Cup on penalty kicks.  It was 0:0 after 90 minutes so it went into extra time where neither side could score a goal, although Metalurh Donetsk had a big chance in the 119th minute but Bogatinov saved a penalty to force a penalty shootout.  In the penalty kicks, Bogatinov saved the fourth attempt but that was not enough as Metalurh Donetsk prevailed 7:6 to reach the domestic cup final.

Ukraine, Persha-Liha, Mykolaiv – Sevastopol 0:1
Besart Ibraimi started on the bench for Sevastopol before coming on in the 70th minute to replace Volodymyr Tanchyk.  Ibraimi scored the lone goal in the 82nd minute when he converted a penalty.  Besart has now scored six of his eight league goals this season from converted penalty kicks.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League (Play-off II B), Lokeren – Beerschot 3:1
Tome Pacovski was not called up by Beerschot due to an injury.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League (Play-off II A), Mechelen – Lierse 1:1
Boban Grncarov was not included in the Lierse squad.  With Grncarov unlikely to return to Lierse next season, the manager decided to exclude him from the squad and use the final two games to utilize players that are in the club’s plans for next season.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League (Play-off II B), Mons – Zulte Waregem 0:1
Aleksandar Trajkovski started for Zulte Waregem and played until the 86th minute when he was substituted by Victor Christiaens.  Trajkovski had a good chance in the 52nd minute but his effort was denied by the opposing keeper before going for a corner.  Zulte Waregem eventually scored the lone goal of the game in the 88th minute to take home the three points.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League (Championship Group), AEL Limassol – APOEL 0:0
Ivan Trickovski got the start for APOEL and played until the 63rd minute when he was replaced by Gustavo Manduca.  Trickovski had two dangerous moments in the 12th and 40th minute but his first chance resulted in a shot going just wide of the goal from the edge of the area while his second opportunity saw Ivan fire a shot straight at the keeper from a good position.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League (Relegation Group), Olympiacos Nicosia – Ethnikos Achnas 2:1
Edin Nuredinoski played from the start for Ethnikos Achnas and conceded two goals, with the second coming in stoppage time of the 90th minute, while his teammate Stojan Ignjatov began the game on the bench before coming on in the 68th minute to substitute Christos Poyiatzis.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League (Placement Group), Alki – Nea Salamis 1:0
Nikola Gligorov played all 90 minutes for Alki in the slim home victory over Nea Salamis.

Hristijan Kirovski was an unused substitute for Apollon.

Both goalkeeper Petar Milosevski and defender Bojan Markoski played the entire game for Enosis who collected an important three points to move one step closer of avoiding relegation.  Enosis now has a four point advantage over last placed Aris in the relegation group with only two rounds remaining until the end of the season.

Ilco Naumoski started for Mattersburg and played until the 82nd minute when he was replaced by Thorsten Röcher in the narrow home defeat against Red Bull Salzburg.

China, Super League, Tianjin Teda – Guangzhou Evergrande 0:1
Velice Sumulikoski played all 90 minutes for Tianjin Teda who suffered a late loss by conceding the lone goal of the game in the 85th minute.

China, Super League, Guangzhou R&F – Liaoning 2:1
Vlatko Grozdanoski played the entire game for Liaoning and had an early chance in the 4th minute but his sliding effort from a difficult angle was saved by the opposing keeper.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Thun – Sion 1:1
Muhamed Demiri started for Thun in midfield and played until the 88th minute when he substituted Mirson Volina in the home draw against Sion.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Aarau – Wil 1:2
Aco Stojkov played all 90 minutes for Aarau as did Mirsad Mijadinoski and Adis Jahovic for Wil.  Stojkov came close to scoring in the 17th minute but his shot went just wide of the post, while Jahovic scored the first goal for Wil in the 64th minute from a penalty which tied the game at 1:1.  Wil then scored another goal in the 78th minute to snatch the three points.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Étoile Carouge – Kriens 2:1
Robert Popov started the game on the bench for Kriens before he came on in the 87th minute to replace fellow midfielder Till Fischer.

Poland, T-Mobile Ekstraklasa, Lech Poznań – Polonia Warszawa 1:0
Aleksandar Todorovski was not called up by Polonia Warszawa.

Poland, I Liga, Górnik Łęczna – Arka Gdynia 2:1
Mirko Ivanovski was not among the 18 players called up by Arka Gdynia.

Vladimir Dimitrovski was an unused substitute for Mladá Boleslav.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, Karlovac – Šibenik 1:0
Daniel Georgievski was not called up by Šibenik due to an injury while his teammate Zeni Husmani played all 90 minutes.  Šibenik conceded the lone goal of the game in stoppage time of the 90th minute as the club has already been relegated to the Croatian second division.

Agim Ibraimi played the entire game for Maribor and continued his good form in April with another goal.  Agim scored in the 57th minute with a strike from about 20 meters to the bottom right corner.

Stefan Ristovski returned from his head related injury for Celje by getting the start in midfield and playing all 90 minutes in the road victory over Nafta.

Denmark, Superliga, Lyngby – Midtjylland 1:2
Bajram Fetai started for Lyngby and played until the 61st minute when he was substituted by fellow attacker Kim Aabech.

South Korea, K-League, Suwon – Seongnam 2:1
Stevica Ristic played all 90 minutes for Suwon and scored the game winning goal in the 71st minute by controlling a cross from the left before firing a shot past the Seongnam keeper.  The win kept Suwon at the top of the table in South Korea.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Brașov – Dinamo Bucureşti 2:0
Baze Ilijoski started for Brașov and played until the 85th minute when he was substituted by Pedro Moutinho.  Ilijoski scored the second goal to put the game away in the 77th minute when he connected on a good cross from the right to send the ball to the back of the net from close range.  As for Dinamo Bucureşti, Kristijan Naumovski stayed on the bench as the #2 keeper.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Borac Čačak – Partizan 0:4
Aleksandar Lazevski remained out with an injury for Partizan while Stefan Spirovski started in midfield for Borac Čačak and played until the 66th minute when he was substituted by Marko Mugoša.  With the win, Partizan clinched the league title in Serbia as they can’t be caught regardless of what happens in the final three rounds of the season.

Daniel Mojsov was not called up by Vojvodina as he remains outside of the first team until the end of the season.  Vojvodina continued its recent struggles by losing another game.

Neither Nikola Jakimovski of Javor nor Fahrudin Gjurgjevic of Spartak Zlatibor Voda played for their respective teams.

Dragan Stojkov was not included in the Jagodina squad due to a yellow cards suspension.

Mario Gjurovski played all 90 minutes for Muangthong United and played a part in both goals, assisting on the first, to help his team reach the top of the table in Thailand.

Dragi Kocev started on the bench for Lokomotiv Plovdiv before he entered the game in the 65th minute replacing Serginho.

Both Igor Mitreski and Slavco Georgievski played the entire game for Neftçi as did Muarem Muarem for Qarabağ while his teammate Nderim Nedzipi was an unused substitute.  Mitreski gave away a penalty in the 32nd minute for a hand ball but the Neftçi keeper saved the resulting spot kick.

Robert Petrov played all 90 minutes for AZAL in the goalless draw to Simurq.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Sundsvall – Örebro 3:1
Armend Alimi started on the bench for Örebro before he entered the game in the 62nd minute to substitute Karl Holmberg.  Alimi had a good chance in the 85th minute but his shot was saved by the opposing keeper before going for a corner.

Daniel Ivanovski played the entire game for Mjällby who equalized in the 78th minute to snatch a point in the road encounter against Helsingborg.

Both Darko Tofiloski and Sakir Redzepi played all 90 minutes for Košice who has now lost seven of their past eight games in league play.

Moldova, Divizia Naţională, Dacia – Milsami 2:1
Goran Dimovski played from the start for Dacia who kept its one point edge over Sheriff at the top of the table with the narrow home win over Milsami.

Kazakhstan, Premyer Liga, Tobol – Kaisar 2:0
Mensur Kurtisi was not called up by Tobol.

Kazakhstan, Premyer Liga, Atyrau – Astana 1:0
Dimitrija Lazarevski played all 90 minutes for Astana in the slim road defeat against Atyrau.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, Heracles – Heerenveen 2:4
Samir Fazli made his season debut for Heerenveen by starting the game on the bench before coming on in the 89th minute to substitute Bas Dost.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Oss – Maastricht 0:2
Antonio Stankov played the entire game for Oss at right-back while his teammate and twin brother, Aleksandar Stankov, started the game on the bench before coming on in the 61st minute replacing Mark Redshaw.  This was the final round of the season in the Dutch second division and Oss finished in 14th place out of 18 teams with 35 points.

Lithuania, A Lyga, Ekranas – Kruoja 1:0
Yani Urdinov recovered from his injury for Ekranas and played from the start at left-back in the minimal home victory over Kruoja.

Norway, Tippeligaen, Sogndal – Molde 2:1
Jasmin Mecinovic remains out with an injury for Sogndal.

Latvia, LMT Virslīga, Skonto – Daugava Rīga 1:0
Bojan Gjorgievski played all 90 minutes for Skonto and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet.  Gjorgievski also received a yellow card in the 48th minute.

Hungary, Nemzeti Bajnokság II, Honvéd II – Egri 0:3
Simeon Hristov began the game on the bench for Egri before he came on in the 81st minute replacing Cedomir Pavocevic.  With the win, Egri became the new table leader in the Hungarian second division.

Greece, Football League, Pierikos – Platanias 0:2
Dejan Blazevski was not included in the Pierikos squad due to a red card suspension.
