Macedonian internationals performances

Velice Sumulikoski (L) alongside Nicolas Anelka; photo: enorth.com.cn  Stevica Ristic converted a late penalty to hand Suwon three points, Slavco Georgievski scored a goal to move Neftçi one step closer to capturing the league title in Azerbaijan, while Adis Jahovic and Aleksandar Stankov added one goal apiece for their respective teams in the second division.

Nikolce Noveski played the entire game for Mainz and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet.  Mainz was very organized in the back and was able to neutralize the formidable attack of Bayern München on the road.

Ferhan Hasani was not called up by Wolfsburg.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Dynamo Kyiv – Vorskla 3:0
Goran Popov was an unused substitute for Dynamo Kyiv.

Ukraine, Persha-Liha, Arsenal Bila Tserkva – Sevastopol 0:1
Besart Ibraimi started for Sevastopol and played until the 64th minute when he was replaced by Igor Duljaj.  The home side had a chance to tie the game in the 90th minute but a penalty was saved by the Sevastopol keeper to ensure that all three points would be going to the visiting team.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League (Play-off II B), Zulte Waregem – Beerschot 2:0
Tome Pacovski played from the start for Beerschot and conceded two goals, one in each half, while Aleksandar Trajkovski also got the start for Zulte Waregem and played until the 87th minute when he was replaced by Niels Vandenbroucke.  Trajkovski attempted a shot from distance in the 15th minute but Pacovski made a comfortable save.  These two teams face off again in the next round.

Boban Grncarov played all 90 minutes for Lierse and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet.  Grncarov also received a yellow card in the 55th minute.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, Ried – Mattersburg 2:0
Ilco Naumoski started for Mattersburg and played until the 59th minute when he was substituted by Thorsten Röcher.  Naumoski came close to scoring a goal in the 48th minute but his header, following a corner, was just cleared off the line by an opposing defender.  Earlier in the 37th minute, Naumoski was shown a yellow card for protesting to the referee who gave Ried a questionable penalty which they converted for the opening goal of the game.

China, Super League, Shanghai Shenhua – Tianjin Teda 0:1
Velice Sumulikoski played the entire game for Tianjin Teda who narrowly got past Shanghai Shenhua, a side featuring well known French striker Nicolas Anelka.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Lausanne – Thun 1:0
Muhamed Demiri played all 90 minutes for Thun in defensive midfield as his side suffered a minimal loss with the lone goal being scored just before halftime by Steven Lang.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Kriens – Aarau 0:2
Aco Stojkov started for Aarau and played until the 70th minute when he was replaced by Igor NGanga.  Stojkov had his best chance in the 33rd minute but he failed to beat the opposing keeper.  As for Kriens, Robert Popov began the game on the bench before coming on in the 75th minute to substitute fellow midfielder Till Fischer.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Wil – Delémont 6:1
Both Mirsad Mijadinoski and Adis Javovic played the entire game for Wil with the latter scoring the sixth and final goal in the 87th minute, and assisting on the second goal in the 18th minute.

Czech Republic, Gambrinus Liga, Bohemians 1905 – Mladá Boleslav 0:3
Vladimir Dimitrovski was an unused substitute for Mladá Boleslav.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, Cibalia – Šibenik 5:1
Daniel Georgievski was not included in the Šibenik squad due to an injury while his teammate Zeni Husmani played all 90 minuted in the heavy road defeat against Cibalia.

Bajram Fetai started for Lyngby and played until the 71st minute when he was replaced by Petar Madsen.  Lyngby suffered a convincing home defeat and remained in the relegation zone by being second from bottom on the table in Denmark’s top division.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Rudar – Maribor 0:2
Agim Ibraimi was not called up by Maribor as he was given a rest by the manager.

South Korea, K-League, Suwon – Daegu 1:0
Stevica Ristic played the entire game for Suwon and scored the lone goal of the game in the 88th minute when he converted a penalty to keep his team in first place on the table.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Ceahlăul – Brașov 1:0
Baze Ilijoski played all 90 minutes for Brașov and had the best chance in the 21st minute but his effort was denied by the opposing keeper.  Ilijoski also received a yellow card in the 43rd minute.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Partizan – Javor 2:1
Neither Aleksandar Lazevski of Partizan nor Nikola Jakimovski of Javor were included in their respective squads for this game.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Hajduk Kula – Vojvodina 0:1
Daniel Mojsov returned from his red card suspension for Vojvodina by playing the entire game and being part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the road encounter against Hajduk Kula.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Sloboda Užice – Borac Čačak 2:1
Stefan Spirovski began the game on the bench for Borac Čačak before he came on in the 82nd minute replacing Ivan Jovanovic.

Igor Mitreski played the entire game for Neftçi while his teammate Slavco Georgievski also got the start and played until the 68th minute when he was replaced by Javid Imamverdiyev.  Georgievski scored the second goal for Neftçi in the 11th minute with a left footed shot from the edge of the area.

Robert Petrov played all 90 minutes for AZAL in the home draw against Ravan.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Göteborg – Örebro 2:2
Armend Alimi started on the bench for Örebro before he entered the game in the 66th minute replacing Marcus Astvald.  Alimi played a part in the second goal for Örebro in the 75th minute when he found Tobias Grahn who took a couple of dribbles before firing a shot to the back of the net.

Daniel Ivanovski played the entire game for Mjällby and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet.  Mjällby handed Åtvidaberg their first loss of the season as the visitors opened the season with three consecutive wins prior to this loss.

Moldova, Divizia Naţională, Dacia – Zimbru 4:0
Goran Dimovski started at right-back for Dacia and played until the 66th minute when he was replaced by youngster Vitali Zhardan.  Dacia had a commanding 3:0 lead at the time of the substitution and added another goal in the 72nd minute to complete the scoreline.

Kazakhstan, Premyer Liga, Tobol – Astana 3:2
Mensur Kurtisi began on the bench for Tobol before he came on at the start of the 2nd half replacing Igor Bugaev while Dimitrija Lazarevski played all 90 minutes for Astana.

Nikola Tonev played from the start for Sunkar in the heavy road defeat against Irtysh.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, Ajax – De Graafschap 3:1
Dzelil Abdula was not called up by De Graafschap.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Oss – Fortuna Sittard 1:3
Both Antonio Stankov and Aleksandar Stankov played the entire game for Oss with the latter scoring the lone goal for the home side in the 28th minute.  The goal came on a sliding effort from close range after the shot by one of the Oss players was initially saved by the Fortuna Sittard keeper.

Yani Urdinov played all 90 minutes for Ekranas who scored the lone goal of the game in the 56th minute to snatch the three points.

Norway, Tippeligaen, Sogndal – Haugesund 1:1
Jasmin Mecinovic was not included in the Sogndal squad due to an injury.

Latvia, LMT Virslīga, Daugava – Skonto 1:1
Bojan Gjorgievski played the entire game for Skonto as each club converted a penalty early in the 2nd half to share the points.

Filip Timov played from the start for Impuls in the heavy home victory over Ararat.

Hungary, Nemzeti Bajnokság II, Újpest – Egri 0:2
Simeon Hristov started for Egri and played until the 64th minute when he was replaced by Gábor Koós.  Egri moved into third place of the Hungarian second division with the win.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Bylis – Vllaznia 1:0
Kire Ristevski played the entire game for Bylis and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet against Vllaznia.

Flamur Tahiri played all 90 minutes for Teuta and also picked up a yellow card in the 81st minute.

Nijaz Lena started for Flamurtari and played until the 67th minute when he was substituted by Gentjan Muca.  Lena scored the second goal for Flamurtari in the 26th minute.
