Pandev came close to scoring once again; photo: Yahoo!Goran Pandev assisted for Napoli, Dragi Kocev scored a hat-trick for Loko Plovdiv, Tome Pacovski and Edin Nuredinoski kept clean sheets for their respective teams, while Vance Sikov was shown a direct red card during the Metalist vs. Volyn game.

Italy, Serie A, Napoli – Lecce 4:2
Goran Pandev started for Napoli and played until the 60th minute when he was replaced by Walter Gargano.  Pandev provided the assist on the second goal for Napoli in the 33rd minute when he sent a good through ball to Edinson Cavani who then scored with a shot past the Lecce keeper.  Several minutes earlier, following a corner kick that resulted in Cavani’s header being saved, Pandev had two attempts to score from close range on the rebound but both of his efforts were blocked by Lecce players.  Goran had another chance in the 38th minute but his left footed shot from just outside of the area was saved by the opposing keeper.

Italy, Serie B, Crotone – Sassuolo 1:1
Stefan Ristovski was an unused substitute for Crotone.

Germany, 1. Bundesliga, Wolfsburg – Mainz 05 2:2
Nikolce Noveski remains out with a thigh injury for Mainz who came back from two goals down to record a point in the road game against Wolfsburg.  Noveski is improving from his injury and Mainz plans on intensifying his workload during training in the near future.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Metalist – Volyn 3:1
Vance Sikov started for Volyn and played until the 48th minute when he received a straight red card for a foul from behind on Metalist attacker José Sosa.  Sikov came close to scoring just before halftime but his powerful free kick from distance went just inches wide of the left goal post.  Volyn battled but the visitors went down to 9 men in the 66th minute and Metalist was able to score three goals after the 83rd minute to record a come from behind victory.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Vorskla – Karpaty 1:1
Martin Bogatinov was an unused substitute for Karpaty as he was the #2 keeper behind Andriy Tlumak.  Bogatinov was on the bench for the second consecutive game for Karpaty after being kept out of the squad for several months.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Beerschot – Genk 2:0
Tome Pacovski played from the start for Beerschot and kept a clean sheet against the defending league champions Genk.  Pacovski made his best save in the 61st minute to deny a Genk player from close range as Tome also received a yellow card in the 73rd minute for time wasting.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Lierse – Mechelen 2:2
Boban Grncarov started for Lierse and played until the 41st minute when he was forced to be substituted because of the injury.  The injury was caused after a hard collision between Grncarov and his teammate Milos Marić in the 34th minute.  Marić was immediately substituted while Grncarov kept on playing for several more minutes but he also was struggling with an injury so the Lierse manager substituted him in the 41st minute by bringing on Fréderic Frans.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Zulte Waregem – Lokeren 1:1
Aleksandar Trajkovski started on the bench for Zulte Waregem before he entered the game in the 85th minute replacing Ólafur Ingi Skúlason.  Trajkovski had a big chance in the 87th minute to hand the home team the 2:1 lead but he shot wide from a good position to squander a great opportunity.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, APOEL – Anagennisi 2:0
Ivan Trickovski was not called up by APOEL because of an injury.  Tricko is improving from his biceps injury and the expectation is that he should be available for Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk.

Edin Nuredinoski played from the start for Ethnikos Achnas and kept a clean sheet while his teammate Stojan Ignjatov started on the bench before he entered the game in the 64th minute replacing Christos Poyiatzis.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Apollon – AEL 0:3
Hristijan Kirovski was an unused substitute for Apollon who suffered a heavy defeat against AEL.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Enosis – Omonia 1:1
Bojan Markoski started at left CB for Enosis and played the entire game while his teammate Petar Milosevski was an unused substitute as he was the #2 keeper behind Georgi Petkov.  Enosis managed to win a point against the current table leaders in Cyprus.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Nea Salamis – Alki 0:1
Nikola Gligorov played all 90 minutes for Alki in defensive midfield and also picked up a yellow card in the 53rd minute for a bad foul on Nea Salamis attacker Chris Dickson.

Austria, T-Mobile Bundesliga, Austria Wien – Mattersburg 0:0
Ilco Naumoski played the entire game for Mattersburg who collected a hard fought point in the road game against Austria Wien.  Naumoski also received a yellow card in the 77th minute.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Grasshopper – Thun 1:0
Muhamed Demiri played all 90 minutes for Thun who suffered a bad loss against Grasshopper.  Demiri was also shown a yellow card in the 13th minute.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Locarno – Aarau 1:1
Aco Stojkov did not play for Aarau because of an injury.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Vaduz – Wil 3:2
Adis Jahović played the entire game for Wil who came up just short in their road game against Vaduz.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, Lechia Gdańsk – Polonia Warszawa 1:3
Aleksandar Todorovski was an unused substitute for Polonia Warszawa for the second consecutive game as the visitors recorded the win thanks to a hat trick from striker Edgar Çani.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, GKS Bełchatów – Ruch Chorzów 1:1
Zlatko Tanevski started at LB for GKS Bełchatów and played all 90 minutes as his club recorded a point against the fifth placed team in the Polish top division.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Partizan – Radnički 1923 3:0
Aleksandar Lazevski was not among the 18 players called up by Partizan.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Vojvodina – Borac Čačak 3:1
Daniel Mojsov played the entire game for Vojvodina while Stefan Spirovski was an unused substitute for Borac Čačak.  Vojvodina will now get ready for the big game next week when they face a difficult road game against Crvena Zvezda.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Javor – Smederevo 0:1
Nikola Jakimovski started for Javor and played until the 53rd minute when he was replaced by Obiora Odita.  Jakimovski caused a Smederevo defender to receive a straight red card in the 10th minute after Nikola was fouled from behind while on a counter attack.  Just before halftime, Jakimovski had a chance but his shot from a tight angle hit the side netting.  Despite playing with an additional player after the 10th minute, Javor suffered a disappointing home loss against Smederevo.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Jagodina – Metalac 0:2
Dragan Stojkov got the start for Jagodina and played until the 67th minute when he was replaced by Dejan Đenić while neither Gjorgi Mojsov nor Nikola Karcev played for Metalac.  Stojkov also received a yellow card in the 39th minute as his club suffered a bad loss against the last placed team in Serbia.

Fahrudin Gjurgjević started on the bench for Spartak Zlatibor Voda before he entered the game in the 90th minute replacing captain Vladimir Torbica.

France, Ligue 2, Amiens – Le Mans 0:0
Vlade Lazarevski was not called up by Amiens.

Denmark, Superliga, Lyngby – Horsens 1:2
Bajram Fetai was not called up by Lyngby because of a suspension.

Czech Republic, Gambrinus liga, Viktoria Žižkov – Příbram 1:2
Ilija Nestorovski started for Viktoria Žižkov and played until the 61st minute when he was replaced by Zdeněk Folprecht.  Nestorovski had a good chance in the 52nd minute but his shot was saved nicely by the opposing keeper and it went for a corner.

Croatia, T-Com Prva HNL, Varaždin – Šibenik 2:1
Both Daniel Georgievski and Zeni Husmani did not play for Šibenik because of injuries as their club finished the first half of the season with a loss against the last placed team in Croatia.  The winter break now gets underway as Šibenik’s next league game is not until 18 February 2012.

Croatia, T-Com Prva HNL, Lokomotiva – Inter Zaprešic 2:0
Goran Todorcev played all 90 minutes for Inter Zaprešic in defensive midfield while his teammate Goran Gancev did not play.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Maribor – Rudar 1:0
Agim Ibraimi started for Maribor and played until the 90th minute when he was replaced by Željko Filipović.  Maribor notched a slim victory by scoring the lone goal of the game in the third minute of stoppage time in the 90th minute when Dejan Mezga converted a penalty.

Greece, Superleague Greece, AEK – Kerkyra 1:0
Goran Maznov started at lone striker for Kerkyra and played all 90 minutes as his club suffered a slim road loss against AEK with the home side scoring the only goal of the game in the 76th minute.

Bulgaria, Kupa na Bulgaria, Etar – Levski 0:3
Darko Tasevski played the entire game for Levski who cruised to an easy victory to advance to the quarter-finals of the domestic cup.  Tasevski tested the Etar keeper in the 85th minute with a clever shot but the opposing keeper was alert and got a piece on the ball to prevent a goal.

Bulgaria, Kupa na Bulgaria, Dobrudzha – Lokomotiv Plovdiv 0:4
Dragi Kocev was given a rare start for Lokomotiv Plovdiv and played all 90 minutes as he scored a hat-trick to help his club advance to the next round of the Bulgarian Cup.  Kocev scored his three goals in the 1st, 65th, and 90th minute.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, De Graafschap – Roda 1:2
Dzelil Abdulla was an unused substitute for De Graafschap.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Willem II – Oss 2:0
Neither Antonio Stankov nor his twin brother, Aleksandar Stankov, were called up by Oss.

Azerbaijan, Unibank Premyer Liqası, Neftçi – Simurq 4:2
Both Igor Mitreski and Slavco Georgievski played the entire game for Neftçi with the former also receiving a yellow card in the 39th minute.

Azerbaijan, Unibank Premyer Liqası, AZAL – Baku 1:0
Robert Petrov played all 90 minutes for AZAL and also picked up a yellow card in the 50th minute for diving as his club recorded a narrow home victory over Baku.

Azerbaijan, Unibank Premyer Liqası, Turan – Qarabağ 0:1
Nderim Nedzipi was an unused substitute for Qarabağ.

Saudi Arabia, Zain Saudi League, Najran – Hajer 1:1
Zoran Baldovaliev played from the start for Najran who settled for a draw in the game against Hajer.  The game featured a total of ten yellow cards between the two teams, five for each side.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Kamza – Teuta 1:2
Marjan Belcev played all 90 minutes for Kamza as did Flamur Tahiri for Teuta who are the current leaders in the Albanian top division with 28 points after eleven rounds.  Tahiri is currently a member of the Macedonian U21 national team.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Apolonia – Pogradeci 2:3
Ilce Petrovski played from the start for Pogradeci and conceded two goals, Nedjat Drazanin played the entire game and scored the opening goal in the 6th minute, while Kliment Nastoski was also given the start and played until the 58th minute when he was replaced by Saimir Jahaj.
