Goran Pandev did not make the Napoli squad because of an injury.  However, Pandev is close to returning and should be back for Wednesday’s league game against Udinese.  If Goran suffers a setback, then the worst case scenario for him would be a return in early November so he is getting closer to returning from his muscle strain injury on the left leg.

Nikolce Noveski played the entire game for Mainz and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet.  Noveski had his best chance in the 45th minute but his header following a free kick played in the box went over the goal.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Dynamo Kyiv – Zorya 6:1
Goran Popov played all 90 minutes for Dynamo Kyiv who cruised to an easy win over Zorya.  With the win, Dynamo Kyiv moved to first place on the table in Ukraine as Shakhtar Donetsk lost their game today so Dynamo now has a three point edge over their heated rivals.

Vance Sikov returned from a yellow cards suspension for Volyn and played the entire game in the slim victory over Arsenal Kyiv.  Sikov also played a part in the lone goal of the game in the 85th minute when his powerful free kick struck the wall before the ball then reached one of his teammates whose cross from the left fell to Goeber who sent his headers past the opposing keeper.

Martin Bogatinov was not called up by Karpaty as Andriy Tlumak started in goal while Oleksandr Ilyuschenkov was on the bench as the #2 keeper.

Mario Gjurovski was not among the 18 players called up by Metalurh Donetsk.

Besart Ibraimi started for Sevastopol and played until the 53rd minute when he was replaced by Yuriy Pleshakov.  Ibraimi also received a yellow card in the 4th minute.

Boban Grncarov played the entire game for Lierse and also picked up a yellow card in the 18th minute for a bad foul.

Tome Pacovski was an unused substitute for Beerschot as he was the #2 keeper behind Stijn Stijnen.

Ivan Trickovski played all 90 minutes for APOEL and scored two goals to lead his team past Ethnikos Achnas.  First, in the 56th minute, Trickovski needed two attempts to beat Nuredinoski.  His initial header was saved but he scored on the rebound while in the 71st minute, Trickovski took a shot which took a deflection of a Ethnikos Achnas defender before going past Nuredinoski.  For Ethnikos Achnas, Edin Nuredinoski played from the start and conceded three goals while his teammate Stojan Ignjatov did not play for the club managed by Cedomir Janevski.

Cyprus, Marfin Laiki League, Nea Salamis – Apollon 1:2
Hristijan Kirovski was an unused substitute for Apollon.  Despite scoring a goal in the last game, Kirovski was relegated to the bench as the Apollon manager started João Paulo at striker and he scored both goals for the visitors.

Bojan Markoski played the entire game for Enosis Neon Paralimni while his teammate Petar Milosevski was an unused substitute as he was the #2 keeper behind Georgi Petkov.

Nikola Gligorov started in defensive midfield for Alki and played all 90 minutes as his team rolled to an easy home victory over Anagennisi Deryneia.

Ilco Naumoski played the entire game for Mattersburg and his best chance came near the end of the game but his shot from the edge of the area went just over the goal.  Naumoski also picked up a yellow card in the 16th minute.

Switzerland, Axpo Super League, Lausanne – Thun 1:0
Muhamed Demiri played all 90 minutes for Thun who suffered a disappointing loss against Lausenne who have the worst goal difference of -18 in Switzerland but they managed to record a slim win over Thun.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Aarau – Brühl 1:0
Aco Stojkov started on the bench for Aarau before he came on at the start of the 2nd half replacing David Marazzi.  Minutes later, in the 50th minute, Stojkov opened the scoring with a fortunate goal as the opposing defender slipped and that allowed Aco to score a goal to hand Aarau the lead.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Lugano – Wil 0:3
Adis Jahović started for Wil and played until the 83rd minute when he was replaced by Stefano Milani.  Jahović scored the second goal for Wil in the 32nd minute with a shot from close range as his side cruised to a decisive road win over Lugano.

South Korea, K-League, Gwangju – Suwon 0:1
Stevica Ristić played all 90 minutes for Suwon and scored the lone goal of the game in the 10th minute.  Ristić scored with a powerful right footed shot from inside the area after a low cross from the right by his teammate Im Kyung-Hyun.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, Jagiellonia – GKS Bełchatów 1:0
Zlatko Tanevski played the entire game for GKS Bełchatów as he started at LB for the second consecutive game.  On the lone goal by the home team, Tanevski was not able to slow down his marker whose through ball reached Tomasz Frankowski who then scored with a shot past the keeper.  Zlatko also attempted a shot in the 15th minute but it failed to trouble the home keeper.

Poland, Unibet 1. Liga, Arka Gdynia – Polonia Bytom 4:0
Mirko Ivanovski played all 90 minutes for Arka who cruised to an easy win over Polonia Bytom.  Ivanovski was active despite not scoring a goal or providing an assist, although he did found the back of the net in the 67th minute with a header but the assistant referee ruled offside.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Javor – Partizan 0:2
Aleksandar Lazevski was not called up by Partizan while Nikola Jakimovski started for Javor and played until the 78th minute when he was replaced by Branislav Čonka.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Vojvodina – Hajduk Kula 4:0
Daniel Mojsov played the entire game for Vojvodina and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet as his side celebrated a comfortable victory over Hajduk Kula.

Stefan Spirovski played all 90 minutes for Borac Čačak and also received a yellow card in the 38th minute.

Ilija Nestorovski started for Viktoria Žižkov and played the first 45 minutes before he was substituted at the start of the 2nd half by Jiří Böhm.  It was 0:0 at halftime but the two teams combined for five goals after the break, including four by the home side Viktoria Plzeň.

Vladimir Dimitrovski was not among the 18 players called up by Mladá Boleslav.

Croatia, T-Com Prva HNL, Slaven Belupo – Šibenik 1:0
Daniel Georgievski returned from his injury for Šibenik by getting the start at RB and playing until the 54th minute when he was replaced by Zvonimir Blaić.  Meanwhile, his teammate Zeni Husmani also got the start and played until the 68th minute when he was substituted by Boris Pešić.  Georgievski also picked up a yellow card in the 43rd minute.

Croatia, T-Com Prva HNL, Split – Istra 1961 3:1
Armend Alimi played all 90 minutes for Istra 1961 and had an early chance but his shot lacked accuracy and went wide of the goal.  With the loss, Istra 1961 finds itself in 12th place out of 16 teams with 11 points after twelve rounds in the Croatian top division.

Goran Todorcev started for Inter Zaprešic and played until the 79th minute when he was replaced by Adrian Valentić while his teammate Goran Gancev did not play.  Todorcev also received a yellow card in the 65th minute.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Mura – Maribor 1:3
Agim Ibraimi started for Maribor and played until the 67th minute when he was replaced by Marcos Tavares.  Ibraimi provided the assist on the first goal for Maribor in the 44th minute by getting a touch on a ball which then fell for Rober Berić who scored from close range past the opposing keeper.

Darko Tofiloski played from the start for Košice and conceded one goal in the 42nd minute.  Tofiloski was not at fault on the goal as he kept his team in the game with several fine saves early in the match.

Marjan Altiparmakovski was not among the 18 players called up by Skoda Xanthi.

Darko Tasevski was not called up by Levski because of the flu.

Dragi Kocev started on the bench for Lokomotiv Plovdiv before he entered the game in the 70th minute replacing Yordan Todorov.

Both Igor Mitreski and Slavco Georgievski played the entire game for Neftçi who settled for a point against Kapaz on the road.  On the lone goal by Neftçi in the 48th minute, Georgievski made a good run before finding striker Flavinho on the left wing whose cross reached Farid Guliev who sent his header past the opposing keeper.

Robert Petrov was not among the 18 players called up by AZAL.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Dinamo Bucureşti – Brașov 0:0
Kristijan Naumovski was an unused substitute for Dinamo Bucureşti as he was the #2 keeper behind Cristian Bălgrădean.

Bosnia, Premijer Liga, Željezničar – Velež 4:1
Perica Stanceski started on the bench for Željezničar before he entered the game in the 72nd minute replacing Muamer Svraka.  The game was already decided in the 1st half as the home side scored all four goals by the 43rd minute and had a 4:0 lead going into the break.

Moldova, Divizia Naţională, Dacia – CSCA-Rapid 3:0
Goran Dimovski started at RB for Dacia and played all 90 minutes as his side collected a comfortable victory over CSCA-Rapid.  Dacia remains in second place with 32 points, one point behind Sheriff.

Jasmin Mecinović played the entire game for Tiraspol as this was his debut for the club.  He was not at fault on any of the goals by Sheriff so hopefully he will receive more playing time in the future.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Mjällby – Halmstad 2:0
Daniel Ivanovski played all 90 minutes for Mjällby and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet for the home team.  This was the final round in the Swedish top division and Mjällby finished in 10th place out of 16 teams with 40 points after 30 league games.
