Rabotnicki bounced back with a comfortable win over Napredok, Renova destroyed Teteks, while Horizont Turnovo scored three late goals to record a come from behind victory against Bregalnica.
In a match played at the Boris Trajkovski stadium in Skopje, Rabotnicki bounced back from a disappointing home loss against Ohrid to record a comfortable 4:1 victory over Napredok in the first leg of the Macedonian Cup quarter-finals. Borce Manevski and Baze Todorovski scored one goal apiece for Rabotnicki with Krste Velkoski adding two goals in the span of two minutes while Gjore Mihajloski scored a consolation goal for Napredok just before halftime.
In Tetovo, Renova destroyed Teteks 6:0. Teteks was coming off an emotional win over heated rivals Shkendija but they had a letdown today as they suffered a heavy loss. Boban Jancevski and Muarem Bajrami scored two goals apiece for Renova while Ismail Ismaili and Marjan Andonov each added one goal to lead Renova to the easy victory over Teteks.
The game with the most drama occurred in Turnovo where the home side, Horizont Turnovo, scored three goals after the 86th minute to collect a 3:1 victory over Bregalnica who initially took the lead in the 27th minute from a penalty by Goran Zdravkov. Former Mainz player Dragan Gjorgiev scored two of the goals for Horizont Turnovo with Mitko Mavrov scoring the other goal.
Later today, Vardar hosts 11 Oktomvri to conclude the first legs of the Macedonian Cup quarter-finals. The match will start at 18:00 CET as the famous Macedonian club is a huge favorite in this matchup of the table leaders Vardar going up against last placed 11 Oktomvri from Prilep.
