First league participants Renova, Sileks, Pelister and Belasica had no problems getting past their opponents. Actually Belasica even recorded their first seasonal win as they are yet to win a point in the league. Shkupi also won, but tight at Sloga 1934.

The biggest surprise happened in Makedonska Kamenica where second league side Sasa managed to eliminate top flight team Borec. The Veles visitors twice was taking a lead, but the hosts always managed to equalize and at the end win on penalties.

Tikvesh deliberately fielded a second squad at Gostivar as they want to concentrate on the league. That explains the results of 5:0 for the hosts. The other clash between second league sides ended with Kozhuf celebrating a win at Veleshta and Kit-Go defeating Skopje at home.

Makedonija GjP and Rabotnichki failed to win and needed penalty kick to advance over second league sides Pobeda and Vlazrimi 77. Interestingly, the last penalty for Pobeda was taken by their keeper who tried a Panenka and missed.
