Today started the new season in the Macedonian Cup with eleven matches on the schedule. There were no surprises, all favorites managed to win with Vardar winning the derby with Pobeda on penalties.

The match that took the attention was definitely the one taking place in Prilep between Pobeda and Vardar, two current second league sides. Vardar took the lead quickly after the break with the hosts equalizing deep into the stoppage time to later lose on penalties.

Pelister had no mercy for the oldest active Macedonian club. Ljuboten, a third league side, was no match for the Bitola based team so the score of 9:0 although unreal, it is deserved.

Top flight side Skopje had big troubles with Cup debutantes Besa 1976 on the road. The hosts had a lone goal lead before conceding an own goal five minutes from time. Skopje then won on penalties.
