Macedonia U19 – Romania U19 4:1

Macedonia U19 celebrated a 4:1 win over Romania U19, today in Ohrid.

In a match that started evenly, Macedonia U19 turned out much better opponent and managed to celebrate a huge 4:1 win implying much of a one-sided game later in the match.

Macedonia opened the score with Ashkovski’s penalty goal. 1:0 was the half-time score. In the second half, Alijoski played a quick ball through Romania’s defense during a free-kick and Bufi doubled the lead. Micevski made it 3:0 and just a minute later Simonovski made the score too convincing. It has certainly been a while since any Macedonian national team scored 4 goals in one match. Romania managed to pull one back, but that was all they can do in this match.

Romania will have the chance to return the favor on Wednesday at 17.30 CET when the second match between these two will be played.
