Macedonia will play a friendly match against World Cup contestants Cameroon this upcoming May in Austria.
The Macedonian national team has arranged their next friendly match. It will take place on the 26th of May in Kufstein, Austria and the opponent will be Cameroon.
Cameroon has qualified for the 2014 World Cup and will prepare for the big tournament in Austria. Besides Macedonia, they have also scheduled a friendly against Paraguay three days later.
Macedonia and Cameroon have already met once before in a friendly match back in February of 2011. Cameroon celebrated a 0:1 win in Skopje, and here is a minute to minute report on our website from that match.
In addition to Cameroon, Macedonia will likely play one or two more friendly matches while in Austria, something they also did before the 2010 World Cup when they played friendlies against Azerbaijan and Romania. Manager Boshko Gjurovski told us as such in our interview with him last month that Macedonia planned on playing 2-3 friendlies during the period of late May/early June.
