The Macedonian national football team continues to drop on the FIFA world ranking list. Macedonia dropped six spots and is now ranked 76th on the latest rankings for October 2010.
After the away win against Andorra and the home defeat by Russia, Macedonia lost 16 points and now has 439 points, four less then Senegal on the 75th and 16 more than Malawi on the 77th position.
Compared to the other national teams from the qualifying group B, only Andorra is ranked lower, while Macedonia is the lowest ranked team compared to the other teams from the Balkans.
Spain tops the rankings with 1920 points while Netherlands is No. 2 with 1718, No. 3 Brazil (1493 points) is just ahead of Germany (1489) and Argentina (1353) is fifth.
