Pelister has lost another one of its players after striker Marjan Altiparmakovski agreed to a contract with Paniliakos.
Paniliakos plays in the Greek second division. This will be Marjan’s second stint in Greece as he used to play for Skoda Xanthi from 2010 to 2013. Then, in the summer of 2013, Altiparmakovski moved back to Macedonia’s championship to join his hometown club Pelister. However, he only spent just the first half of the season with Pelister before returning to Greece once again.
In the league where Paniliakos plays, there are three other teams with Macedonian players. There is Kerkyra (Zoran Baldovaliev), Ethnikos Gazoros (Ivan Nastevski), Aiginiakos (Ivan Mitrov) and now Paniliakos (Marjan Altiparmakovski).
After 14 rounds, Paniliakos finds itself tied for 9th place with 16 points, just two points above the relegation zone.
