Lyngby looking to re-sign Bajram Fetai

The Lyngby sports director confirmed today that the team wants to extend the contract of Bajram Fetai.

Birgit Aaby, the sports director of Lyngby, confirmed today in an interview with a Danish newspaper that the team is currently negotiating with Fetai’s agent and they are hopeful of bringing him back for next season.  Fetai joined Lyngby during the 2011 January transfer window and he played an important part in Lyngby barely avoiding relegation.  He scored three goals in 13 appearances during the second half of the season.

However, Fetai only signed a six months contract with Lyngby so he is a free agent this summer.  Before joining Lyngby, Fetai spend five seasons with fellow Danish team Nordsjælland where he scored a total of 22 goals.  Fetai played as a winger for Lyngby this past season and has made two appearances for the Macedonian national team.
