Lazio president Claudio Lotito is confident that Macedonian striker and Lazio's best player Goran Pandev will remain at the club for many years to come.

The Macedonian striker, who scored 14 league goals last season for the Rome-based side, has been a target of several European clubs. Bayern München, Liverpool and Tottenham have all shown an interest in acquiring the services of the 24-year-old, but Lotito insists the forward is staying put, according to SportingLife.com

He said: "There is no problem with Pandev. He will remain at Lazio for a long time. I have a great relationship with him and he will have talks to extend his contract."

Pandev, who joined the Biancoceleste in the summer of 2004 from Ancona, has yet to sign a contract extension at Lazio with his current deal set to end in June 2010.
