Ljupco Dimitkovski takes over Horizont Turnovo

After Gjorgji Todorovski surprisingly resigned, Ljupco Dimitkovski was named as the new Horizont Turnovo manager.

Gjorgji Todorovski led Horizont Turnovo during the winter preparations in Antalya, Turkey but he resigned from the managerial position a couple of days ago.  That decision came as a surprise to many, but the club immediately named a replacement in Ljupco Dimitkovski.  Their new manager, nicknamed “Ganjo”, is 38 years old and formerly played and manager Kavadarci based club Tikves.  Dimitkovski led second league side Tikves to the semi-finals of the Macedonian cup last season.

He will be Horizont Turnovo’s third manager this season, after Dragan Hristovski and Gjorgji Todorovski.  Dimitkovski will be aiming to help the club avoid relegation as Horizont Turnovo was second from bottom on the table after the conclusion of the first half of the season.
