Latvian national team coach Paolo Nicolato announced his squad for the Round 5 match of the 24/25 Nations League against Macedonia in Skopje.

The Italian coach summoned 25 players: the same 24 players since the October squad with one additional player in 22-year-old central defender Oskars Vientiess, who is first time with the national team.
Latvia hopes to win with at least 3 goals margin against Macedonia in order to have a chance to take over the table top. But, for that to happen Macedonia will have to loose in the last round at home by the Faroe Island and Latvia will have to beat Armenia at home. Mathematically Latvia has chances for the top, but it is a very unlikely scenario.
