Free agent goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski will continue his career in Bulgaria after he signed a deal with Levski earlier today.
The 25-year-old Naumovski signed a 1 year contract with an option to extend for an an additional season as well. He will be given a chance to compete for the starting spot at keeper heading into the 2014-15 season. Naumovski said former Levski player Darko Tasevski told him good things about the club, so he then decided to sign a deal with Levski.
Naumovski moves to Bulgaria as a free agent after spending the past 4 years in Romania with Dinamo București. He was mostly the backup keeper there behind Cristian Bălgrădean. This summer, Kristijan wanted to join a team where he would have a better chance to receive more playing time, and he is banking that Levski will be the right club to further his career. Naumovski also serves as a backup on the Macedonian national team behind Tome Pachovski.
