Right-back Tome Kitanovski received a red card for elbowing an opponent during a Serbian Cup game on Wednesday.
FK Voždovac, struggling mightily in league play, managed to reach the semi-finals of the Serbian Cup. However, their journey in that competition ended on Wednesday after losing 4:1 to Čukarički. They were outscored 6:1 over the two legs.
In the 72nd minute of the return leg, Tome Kitanovski picked up a direct red card after throwing an elbow at an opponent. The referee immediately took out the red card, much to the dismay of Kitanovski. However, it did look blatant as Tome clearly extended his elbow.Â

Čukarički will face Partizan in the Serbian Cup final.
