After Jasmin Mecinovik’s unsuccessful trial with Vålerenga, he will now try to obtain a contract with another Norwegian club in Stabæk.
Stabæk will have a training camp in La Manga, Spain and Macedonian U21 national team defender Jasmin Mecinovik is expected to join the club there on Thursday.
“I hope to sign a contract with the club as the management announced they are interested in me’ – Mecinovik told Ekipa.mk.
Before Stabæk, Jasmin was on trial with Vålerenga but was not offered a contract. Stabæk will play its first friendly in Spain on Friday, so Mecinovik could get a chance to play in that match.
Mecinovik played for FK Skopje before moving to Sheriff from Moldova in the 2011 January transfer window. He was then loaned out to Tiraspol but did not get much playing time so he will be looking t continue his career in Norway.
