Mirko Ivanovski trained with Arka’s first team

Attacker Mirko Ivanovski trained with the first team of Arka once again on Thursday after several weeks of playing and training with the Arka reserves.

The Arka manager Petr Němec decided to include Mirko Ivanovski in Thursday’s training for the first team.  However, the manager refused to say that Ivanovski was permanently back on the first team.  Instead, Němec only said that whether Ivanovski stays with the first team will fully depend on the player himself and his behavior moving forward.  The manager did say after Thursday’s training that Ivanovski showed great commitment in the classroom and expressed his gratitude for getting this chance.

Arka has a game this Saturday when they go on the road to face Olimpia Elbląg, the last placed team in the Polish second division.  Němec stated that a decision will be made after Friday’s training whether Ivanovski will be included in the squad for that game.  Arka currently finds itself in 7th place of the Polish second division but the club did advance to the semi-finals of the domestic cup as they recently eliminated top division side Śląsk Wrocław to reach that point in the competition.
