More potential problems for Macedonian manager John Toshack after Ivan Trickovski had to be substituted in the 60th minute of today’s game for APOEL because of an injury.

APOEL managed to defeat Nea Salamis 1:0 but it was not all good news for the club as Ivan Trickovski was forced to be substituted in the 60th minute with an injury.  Trickovski felt discomfort in his leg and then pointed to the sidelines to be substituted.  The injury likely means that Ivan will also be withdrawn from the Macedonian squad for Wednesday’s friendly against Luxembourg, joining Nikolce Noveski and Goran Popov who were withdrawn earlier today due to injuries.  In that case, Toshack will need to call up an additional player to have at least 18 players available for the game.
