After Luis Diogo bolted with Ljubinko Drulović to Partizan, Igor Angelovski has chosen Ivan Jovanovski to be in charge of conditioning.
Ivan Jovanovski has spent the past several years working in Bulgaria and Azerbaijan. He used to be employed by CSKA Sofia and Ludogorets in Bulgaria, before then moving to Inter Baku in Azerbaijan. His roles involved the conditioning of the players. At Inter Baku, one of the players he worked with was Slavcho Georgievski, a former national team member of Macedonia.
There was an opening on the coaching staff after Luis Diogo, in charge of conditioning under Ljubinko Drulović, bolted to Partizan. That was not a surprise since Diogo is very loyal to Drulović, so he followed him. Luis only came to Macedonia because of Drulović. They have a long friendship dating back to their days in Portugal, when Drulović was based there during his playing career.
Besides Jovanovski, Igor Angelovski has opted to retain Argjend Bekjiri and Oka Nikolov (goalkeeper coach). Those four guys will make up the staff. Bekjiri will also be responsible for recruiting ethnic Albanian players from abroad that have a connection to Macedonia.
