Iran announces squad for visiting Macedonia

The Iranians train for the friendlies; photo: FFIRIIran will visit Skopje to play a friendly against Macedonia and for that occasion their national team coach gathered a 33-players squad to a training camp.

The national team of Iran is led by Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz who is in change since April 2011 and has lead the team at the 2014 World Cup and the 2015 Asian Cup. The Persian Stars are now preparing for the 2018 World Cup qualifications as they managed to reach the last stage.

Iran is currently on a training camp with 33 players being involved, but 23 of them will travel to Macedonia for the friendly scheduled for 2 June. Five days later Iran will host Kyrgyzstan.
