MacedonianFootball.com proudly presents to You an interview with Vladica Brdarovski.
Yet another outstanding player from Pelister’s youth team. After successfully passing all the categories, Vladica has reached the highest level of Pelister and is now a regular first-team member and in many of the matches he played this season, a key player. With several excellent matches behind him, he has rightly attracted attention of many managers and got a call to play for Macedonia U21. Vladica plays as a full-back and is 20 years old.
MF: Where and when have You started Your football career?
VB: I have started my career when I was 7, in Pelister and I am still in this club.
MF: You have worked under many different coaches. From whom did You learn the most, who has left the biggest impression?
VB: True, I have had an opportunity to learn from many coaches and Zlatko Cvetanovski is one of the coaches that definitely taught me a lot. We have worked together in many categories and for a brief period in the first team as well and we have won a major international tournament in Bulgaria together with ‘Duci’ as a cpach. Also, Dejvi Glavevski and Gjoko Ilievski are coaches that spring to my mind when I am asked such question, and of course – Naum Ljamcevski – the man whogave me the best opportunity in my life so far – playing for the first team of Pelister.
MF: Can You choose Your favorite match, appearance?
VB: I think the one against Vardar when Pelister won 1:0 in Bitola, this season. I have also played an excellent match against Rabotnicki in Skopje in the second leg of the cup semi-final, but unfortunately we lost that match.
MF: Where do You see Yourself in 5 years?
VB: Oh, a tough one. Well, let’s hope everything will be fine with me and I surely hope I can play in a big European club.
MF: What does the Macedonian national team shirt mean to You?
VB: There is no better feeling! Representing Your country everywhere in the world, it makes me proud and I do it with honor. Just listening to the Macedonian anthem and You know You have to give everything. You have to really get stuck in when You play for Macedonia!
MF: Can You tell us Your favorite club and player?
VB: My favorite club is Barcelona, while my favorite player is Branislav Ivanović of Chelsea.
MF: Who do You consider a best player in the Macedonian championship?
VB: In the last season, I think that was Goran Gancev – my teammate from Pelister who now signed for Zeleznicar from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
MF: And what about Your biggest success so far?
VB: If I have to single out, that would surely be winning the international tournament in Bulgaria with teams like Litex Lovech, CSKA Sofia and Levski Sofia which we beat them 6-1 in the semi final.
Vladica Brdarovski with 20 years already has many trophies that even more experienced players can be envious. He has won the cup competition with Pelister several times with different categories and he has won the U18 championship, plus the aforementioned tournament in Bulgaria. He has been capped three times for U21 national team, most recently in the match against Bosnia and Herzegovina earlier this year. This talented right back already has several offers on table but he does not want to rush and most probably he will wear Pelister’s shirt in the following season, too. Keep an eye on this name!
