Striker Baze Ilijoski scored a brace to lead Brașov to a comfortable 3:0 home victory over Voinţa Sibiu.
Baze Ilijoski started in attack and played until the 90th minute when he was substituted by Alin Damian. Ilijoski scored both of his goals in the opening 20 minutes with right footed shots. First, in the 12th minute, an opposing defender misplayed a ball which then reached Ilijoski who fired a shot past the Voinţa Sibiu to the bottom right corner. Baze then scored his second goal in the 19th minute when a teammate passed him the ball inside the area before Ilijoski slotted a shot to the top right corner. The opposing keeper had no chance on either goal with the well placed shots by Ilijoski.

Ilijoski should have scored a hat-trick in the 42nd minute but he squandered two good opportunities. His first effort, following a good through ball by a teammate, was saved by the visiting keeper while the rebound opportunity resulted in Ilijoski shooting just over the goal with the keeper out of position. That miss did not prove costly as Brașov was in control throughout the game and managed to net a third goal in the third minute of stoppage time in the 90th minute to complete the 3:0 scoreline.
Since joining Brașov as a free agent during the winter transfer window, Ilijoski has scored six league goals in 11 appearances. His side is now six points above the relegation zone with only four rounds remaining until the end of the season in the Romanian top division.
