Overall top goalscorer Bazhe Ilijoski, midfield master Stephan Vujčić, wing back Blagoja Ljamchevski and a Kosovan U21 national team player Rron Broja are the winter acquisitions for Shkupi so far.
Currently the second best goalscorer in the history of Macedonian top flight, Bazhe Ilijoski (main photo), will be looking to add more goals wearing the blue and white colors of Shkupi from Skopje. He comes as a free agent from Pelister. 33-years-old Ilijoski has so far scored 122 goals in the 1.MFL and is aiming to catch legendary striker Zoran Boshkovski who is first with 125.
Stephan Vujčić will be a huge addition to the midfield. He comes from Shkendija who’s board decided to to renew his contract. Vujčić suffered a heavy injury during the Europa League early stage last summer and since than hasn’t played at all.
Blagoja Ljamchevski was teammate of Ilijoski at Pelister and like many others left the financially broken club. It is not the first time for him to play for club from the Macedonian capital as previously he used to be part of Vardar, Metalurg, Rabotnichki and Makedonija GjP.
The last new player is 21-yer-old Rron Broja, a member of the U21 national team of Kosovo who previously played at the same level for Albania. He comes from Trepça’89, a club based in Mitrovica in Northern Kosovo. In the past few years he was part of the youth teams of Belgian clubs Gent and Deinze.
So far the club released 3 of its players. Those are Cameroonian striker Emmanuel Mbella, wing back Fisnik Zuka who joined Albanian side Flamurtari and defender Sedat Berisha who also moved to our western neighbor but at Vllaznia.
