The deal was announced on Apollon’s website and their board of directors welcomed Kirovski to the team and wished him success wearing their shirt.  Kirovski is a tall striker that has played with many teams throughout his career.  He has spent most of his career in Macedonia but he does have experience in Cyprus as he had a brief stint with Ethnikos Achnas in 2006.  His new team Apollon finished 5th this past season in the Cypriot top division and they also reached the Cypriot Cup final where they lost to Omonia.

Hristijan Kirovski was the top goal scorer in the top Macedonian league this past season with 20 goals for FK Skopje.  In the game between Pelister and FK Skopje Kirovski scored four goals in a 5:4 loss.  Shortly after that he went on trial in January to both FK Bakı in Azerbaijan and Polish club Ruch Chorzów but he did not show enough and returned to FK Skopje.  His now former team eventually finished 9th this season but they are still not safe as they will play a play-off game against Miravci from the Macedonian second division on 8 June 2011 to determine whether FK Skopje will remain in the top division or whether Miravci will become a new member of the top division.  Kirovski also has two appearances for the Macedonian national team.
