The opening half-season in the Macedonian top flight ended today with the Round 18 matches. Struga with a stoppage time winner took the points and secured the top for the two months winter break. Shkupi and Shkendija follow as these three teams will fight for the title.
With today’s results it is even more entertaining in the battle for avoiding relegation. Thanks to Vardar’s win over Tikvesh, now everyone is in game for avoiding the worst. It will be interesting in the second half-season.
The winter break in Macedonia officially started, while the domestic football will be back in the weekend 17/18 February.
The winter transfer window in Macedonia starts on 15 January and will close on 11 February.
