Gostivar is the second club, after Voska Sport, to withdraw from the Macedonian top tier.

The club released a long statement announcing the withdrawal, after being fined with minus nine points and with ten matches home ground ban after withdrawing from the match against Rabotnichki.

If the club don’t show up on the next four remaining matches, all of them will be awarded 3:0 for the opponents. Those matches are against: Pelister, Sileks, Shkendija and Vardar. Also, according to the rules, the club should be relegated to the 4th division. This means that there will be no direct relegation from the 1.MFL. Voska Sport and Gostivar already withdraw, so only the fight to avoid the play-offs remains.
