Gorazd Mihailov takes over Rudar Prijedor

Gorazd Mihailov will be the new manager of Rudar Prijedor from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Gorazd Mihailov was unveiled as the new manager of Bosnian side Rudar Prijedor and also held his first training in charge of the club on Monday. Along with Mihailov, the club presented a new sporting director in Slavko Basara, who was a spokesman for the team, and fitness coach Borche Lazarev who arrived together with Mihailov.

Mihailov last led Napredok in the Macedonian championship, but he left the club after the conclusion of the first half of the season. Additionally, Mihailov has also managed Pelister, Teteks and Ohrid in his career. Before those stints, he worked in Iceland with IF Höttur.

Mihailov also briefly served as manager of the Macedonian women’s national team earlier in his coaching career.

Rudar Prijedor is currently in 14th place of the Bosnian Premier League, just 1 point above the relegation zone. The club will hold their winter training camp in Makarska, Croatia, while he second half of the season gets underway on the 1st of March.
