Central defender Goran Ganchev has switched from PSMS Medan to Persebaya in Indonesia.
Goran Ganchev will continue his career in Persebaya, thus remaining in Indonesia. Ganchev played for PSMS Medan in Indonesia and has now joined Persebaya. His new club has ended on the second place in Indonesian Premier League and obtained the right to compete in AFC Cup.
Ganchev has signed a deal for the next season. Ibnu Grahan, Persebaya’s manager was quoted saying – ‘Goran is very good player, showed good performances and passed medical and physical tests well’. Ganchev joined the team and completed the third slot for foreign player. Persebaya are from Surabaya, Indonesia’s second largest city and play their home games on Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium with capacity of 55.000 people.
Before leaving for Indonesia, the 29-years-old defender has played for numerous clubs in Macedonia, had a brief spell in Bosnia and Herzegovina with Željezničar and Velež as well as Inter Zaprešić in Croatia.
