Goran Gancev left Inter Zaprešić

Inter Zaprešić announced on its official website that the club has agreed to mutually terminate the contract of Macedonian defender Goran Gancev.

The 28-year-old CB Goran Gancev joined Inter Zaprešić earlier in the summer from Bosnian club Velež as a free agent but he did not receive much playing time so both parties decided to go their separate ways.  The long winter break got underway in Croatia and Gancev will now be free to sign with another club during the upcoming transfer window.  During his short stay at Inter Zaprešić, Gancev was a teammate of another Macedonian player in Goran Todorcev.

Gancev was born in Negotino and has spent the majority of his career in Macedonia with clubs such as Pelister and Metalurg.  Goran has also played abroad in both Bosnia and Croatia.  In Bosnia, he played for Željezničar and Velež while his latest club was Inter Zaprešić from Croatia.  Gancev only ended up making two league appearances for the Croatian club during the first half of the season before his contract was mutually terminated.
