Darko Glishikj got injured and won’t be able to play the Derby of Macedonia and the EURO qualifiers against Luxembourg and Ukraine.
Vardar’s left back Darko Glishikj picked up a serious injury during the today’s training session with his club. He twisted his ankle and will not only miss Saturday’s Derby of Macedonia against Pelister and the two 2016 EURO qualifying matches against Luxembourg and Ukraine, but most probably he will be out of the field for an additional period as a surgical intervention may be needed, SportMedia.mk reports.
Since NT manager Boshko Gjurovski summoned only one left back in Darko, it will be interesting to see who will be called up as a replacement. Left back Ezgjan Alioski played the Spain qualifier but wasn’t included in the current squad, same as Aleksandar Todorovski who’s natural position is right back but is adapted to feature on the other side as well. From the currenty called up players, only Ardian Cuculi can play as left back, but Gjurovski considers him for the CB position.
